Comments

First thing: Werner was stuck inside for like ten months... and they were only half way done.

The Ultimate Ed

1. This episode is epic and (in some ways) the birth of Saul Goodman. Love it, and your reaction to it! 2. Suraj, I love your shirt! <3

THANK you!

The moment was ruined but i absolutely do not blame the sneeze. just plz stoooop talking over

"I know what you are. What you WERE. People don't change! You're SLIPPIN JIMMY! And Slippin Jimmy I can handle just fine but Slippin Jimmy with a law degree is like a chimp with a machine gun!"

awesomeusername

"You're not a real lawyer! The University of American Samoa? An online course?! What a joke. I WORKED MY ASS OFF"

You're overcomplicating it. They never said that the cartel are not sociopaths. They said that the guy should have been aware of the danger he was in and acted accordingly. Regarding Jimmy: he started the series as a guy who had compassion for his brother. Now he is showing exceptional skills at manipulation. If you study psychology this is exactly the kind of skill that sociopaths have. In fact, Gus is very good at manipulating people.

Thoko

Kinda confused about your reactions to this one. Werner gets killed for wanting to see his wife and it's all "yeah I mean that's what you get, sorry but it's the cartel bro." Then Jimmy refuses to feel bad that his condescending prick of a brother died and it's the end of the world? They wouldn't reinstate him when he was actually being sincere and played by their rules, so he had to lie and change the rules. Not sure that really makes him a sociopath.

What did the normies mean at @0:32 when two of them said "the old man is going to kill Werner"? Surely they don't mean Mike, a character whose name they should definitely know.

Man, so much anger toward jimmy. I just don’t get it. We know who he is. Chuck was garbage. Treated jimmy like garbage and even in his last words told jimmy that he didn’t matter to chuck. Then we expect him to feel something for chuck? Cmon, get real. We love jimmy’s antics and how he’s able to navigate the legal system, yet you guys hate in him for how amazing he is. I honestly don’t get it.

Daniel Lopez

Oh wow, I never even noticed the connection there

Dinero

Also, Jimmy technically took Chuck's advice. During their last conversation, he told Jimmy not to bother apologizing or showing remorse for his actions if he wasn't going to try to change. So Jimmy took his advice and decided not to guilt trip himself over Chuck's death

Dinero

I'm with Jimmy. He's not a sociopath. He cares about people. He cares about Kim and he even cared about Chuck. It's only after all the shit Chuck pulls and after he tells Jimmy he never cared about him at all that he started to grow callus towards him. Also, after they prejudged that girl, he knew that these uppity establishment pricks would never really give him a real chance. Since he was a kid, every lesson he's learned teaches him that being nice and playing by the rules doesn't work and gets you taken advantage of. Every time he's tried doing the right thing, people shit on him...including Chuck.

Wray Townsend

Thanks for the shoutout Nahid!

I think you guys are genuinely judging Jimmy by a false standard. There is no rule that you have to love any family member no matter what and Chuck was manipulative, abusive, and dismissive of Jimmy entirely. His last words to Jimmy were that he never mattered to him. You're allowed to cut ties with family members and you don't have to be sad when they die. That doesn't make you a psychopath.

xeitroen

Lmao the title of the video "Best Episode Mike Kills Werner Saul Goodman Name Change". Pretty much sums it up.

Shockzz1234

Oh you have no idea what's in store for season 5. Your heads are going to spin lol

Dylan

"Michael?...Is that you?" 😈

outdoorcats

Great reaction generally though!

Niall Swan

I know this is a reaction channel but good lord was there too much talking in this episode. That scene where Mike kills Werner deserved so much more attention than it was given.

Niall Swan

Um, Breaking Bad Saul's main purpose was comic relief. There isn't much comedy with this Saul, and the humor you do see is usually the cringe variety. In Breaking Bad he's just a likable goof in over his head.

db

The best lies have elements of truth within them. I don't think Jimmy was 100% bullshitting in that final speech, but he was intentionally saying it to get what he wanted without truly believing or meaning it.

Kara

the birth of saul goodman. i think its kinda weird how everyone loved sauls personality in breaking bad and here everyone like hates his guts and calls him disgusting when its the same kind of jimmy we see as saul and yet they cheer for saul in breaking bad while hating him here lol

Danny

you guys aren't ready for the next season at all

Tobi

Great reaction guys. Can't wait for Season 5!

Zach

to be honest, I do think there is some part of that final speech in the courtroom that Jimmy did feel in order to make them believe it. as we saw in the beginning, Jimmy really did look up to Chuck and there was some love there at some point for Jimmy to take care of Chuck for all those years. but at some point, that love turned into resentment after how poorly Chuck treated Jimmy and how, as Chuck said to Jimmy in those final moments of their relationship "you never really mattered that much to me." I love your reactions but my only gripe is that you often see things so black and white when there are often these shades of grey. I do believe that Jimmy is mourning Chuck in his own way. I do believe that Jimmy believed parts of that speech but most of it was bullshit. I do believe that Kim is an overall good person and a badass lawyer but she isn't perfect. the same goes for Howard: he's not perfect but he has his good points.

Nikki Sonrisa

Great episode, great season. Loved the reactions throughout. Really looking forward to S5!

Kara

I loved the expression on Kim’s face at the end. She knew Jimmy best and she still got played.

Yomeniester

" 'sall good man ;) " Nahid: *slow clap "that is the best written shit I have ever seen poggers"

TheHumourTumour

i know mike and gus are considered to great but lets not forget my BOY walter white beat them both and got the W in the end

B00ch

Incredible finale, and yet this show gets even better next season!

Jay

Jimmy to that girl who didn't get the scholarship: "... because you don't matter all that much to them" Chuck to Jimmy during their last conversation: "But the truth is you've never mattered all that much to me"
