Marketa, the Primes most likely don't have children, it would be too fucked up to use your own child as a host body. They get their hosts from the people of Sanctum, like Delilah - who's parents have red-blood and work in a tavern. So Abby isn't too old to be a host.

Chris I never noticed she slapped Gabriel with her left hand! Luckily, her parents are self absorbed terrible parents and didn't notice 🤣🤣
