I love Marketa but i think that we should stop idealizing things. Capitalism is also bad for 90% of the people in the world. Revolutions are neither good nor bad, they are convenient in a certain time and space and for a specific actor. I think that reflects well on the show. We´re all villains in someone else´s story.

Pat, no... it’s like Plato’s allegory of the cave, when you’ve been in darkness and lived for generations from existence knowing shadows for reality. Then you make it out and see sun, and it hurts but you adjust and see clearly and go out into the world to explore. You return and try to convince others but they get mad at you. Is it worth it if the peace is a facade? The people of Sanctum were not actually safe or at peace. There was regular violence and brainwashing. We should always question our realities. Also, now we’re both caught up. I need to get into Season 7, I haven’t had the time in lockdown as I’ve been working. Motivated to watch it this week so I can keep up with the reactions! Pat is just wrong about them having peace. The adjustment protocol didn't only involve drinking drugs to be brainwashed. It also involved using the toxin to create purges where "believers killed non-believers". So they're starting these huge massacres to cull non-devout people. The people are experiencing violence, in addition to being forcefully fed drugs. That's not peace.

I felt this way for a little, but I think the concept of love being powerful is something that is going to follow through into season 7, so I am curious where they will go with it. We spent most of the series with Clarke drilling into her brain that "Love is weakness," so maybe it's time for Clarke to break out of that.

Also, Anyone else find how they got Maddie back to be a little hokey? Just coming back like that, with "the power of lurrrve"? I mean I'm cool with it cuz Shaed Heda had overpowered her mind, since: she's a young girl, had lost her mother, wanted revenge and "invited him in" essentially; so it makes sense that she would reject him with Clarke's presence/sacrifice. But idk .. it seemed too easy imo - I think I would've liked it better if they had shown a struggle between the two in her mindspace. What do you all think? Curious on everyone's opinion on that moment.

Season 7 has potential to be the best season yet, and has been my personal favorite up to this point. But they HAVE to stick the landing. Nothing matters if your ending is shit.
