Nah fuck that. Nahid wasn't making money off of the image, he wasn't selling the image as if it was his own, nor did he ever claim it was his. He can google reverse search the image and credit the creator in the comments. Since when did Patreon REQUIRE all images to credit the creator as soon as it's used? I understand honoring the creator's work, but this is some Karen-level internet policing BS.

First of all my original argument is about using fan works without permission as they are smaller artists that dont receive compensation. Even just doing reactions in general is questionable but at least they support official releases and offer full reactions that encourage others to support the original. But you do you.

I know it can be hard and nearly impossible, but in that case they should just not use it. It wouldnt be hard to find an artist first or even commission something to support them.

I agree but he found it on google images. When theres no watermark it can be very difficult to trace back artwork to the original source when so many people post/share it. At that point it just becomes impossible. Thats why artists need to watermark because on the internet this stuff spreads fast and reposted everywhere.
