Soren was completely justified in trying to repel the dragon imo. They're at war. The dragon isn't there in the Human Realm on a casual, relaxing, vacation or some shit, it's obviously up to something lol. Soren was very much justified in attacking it. Honestly, the real weird thing about that whole scenario was that the humans stationed there didn't even do anything about it. Didn't try and repel it, didn't report it, nothing. They were just like "oh a dragon has been circling here for 3 days in a row....eh probably nothing" like what? Lmao.

That dragon is a sentient being. She was flying around scared people for three(!) days, she had to know what she was doing, it was a direct threat. Soren tried to scare her off and she burned the village, but yeah, he is the only one responsible here, poor dragon

Zym isn't a big deal because he's the "last dragon". He's a big deal because he is the "Dragon Prince", son of the late king of the dragons. Destined to be the most powerful being on the planet. There are TONS of other dragons including his mother. The moonshadow elves talk about sending a message back to the Queen of the Dragons in like episode 2.

You guys shouldn't try to classify characters as good or evil. It makes them seem one dimensional. Like real life, people are typically grey. Good people can do bad things and bad people can do good things.

You guys are a little hung up on characters needing to be 100% Lord Ozai evil when there's Zuko & Zaheer kinda shades to people; y'all ain't new to morally gray and conflicted, or that even villains can care about people and things and greater goods, so I dunno why it's giving you guys such confusion now=P And Zym isn't the last dragon, he's presumed dead dragon royalty; dragons and elves and other magical things are still in Xadia across rhe border, it was just a royal bloodline that seemed destroyed, not the species. Plus, the dragon hovering in human territory, not Xadia, right above a town, after the dragon king was killed and elf assassins sent to human lands to assasinate a human king in retaliation...Soren was overly aggressive perhaps in repelling it, but its not just leisurely strolling in human territory lol...the scout theory is more credible. These are warring factions, not to justify Soren but still.
