I started, but couldn't finish it. I like most of the acting and the actors, but damn does it get entrenched in that formulaic crime drama-ness that it becomes boring to watch. It feels like a neat concept that can't be sustained by an actual show. There's not enough there for it to be sustainable. The longer format of a standard television series run really hurts it's watch-ability and it probably would have worked better with intensely focused 6-8 episode season or seasons that more closely revolve around the father-son/family dynamic.

The show is great. The main guy is from the Walking Dead (he plays Jesus). There are some cheesy parts but they become less cheesy as the show dives into the issues between the main character and the dad.

The first episode has a weaker resolution half, for sure, but the cast interactions get better as the show continues and they push the gore up a little bit. Overall I think the series is definitely one of the best network crime genre shows and as they give the father more screen time the dialogue really jumps up in quality. Michael Sheen is so good with his creep factor. The show is definitely worth a watch, if not a reaction.
