[Premium Access] The 100 - 7x8 Anaconda - Group Reaction + Uncut

Well, this was definitely "the" episode. This episode beautifully blends what we thought we knew and what we now know of the events leading to this entire series. Major props to Jason Rothenberg and the team and we are excited to hear more about a prequel! Let us know what you thought in the comments.

"He's not dead. They're going to kill off a main character off screen" well... only if you knew what is going to happen :// *cries in Jason hates Bellamy and Bob*

Great logic!

Callie is the first fleimkepa and her brother is the first commander. He said he’s going out there after her and he has the blood now. And remember that the flame has memories of past commanders, their consciousness is on it. That’s how we know Bekah was burned alive, Madi had a nightmare about it right after she took the flame in S5 and she’s drawn it a few times since. So the way we know Callie’s brother is the commander is because that memory of Bekah burning is in the flame (which is how Madi saw it) and the only way that could happen is if someone who witnessed it becomes commander. Callie was locked up/giving out nightblood when Bekah was being burned. Her brother was out there to witness it so the memory Madi sees 100years later is his. Love y’all’s reaction, per usual! :)

i want to know how grounders forget there history. the grouders were shocked when the 100 landed

I completely forgot about Bill but I knew he seemed familiar when he showed up! Cool to see everything coming together

I think a Commander every 20 years is too generous/too long a stretch. Warring clans & politics, assassinations, etc, you could lose some commanders quickly, in only a handful of years.

Marketa, all the kids are there because their parents are the cult members. And the kids just got dragged along. You can see August's parents beside him when he freaks out about his girlfriend.

All the CW shows got pushed back 6 months. If the show does get picked up the earliest it could rotate in is late spring 2021. That's why they haven't made a decision yet and won't until they can see if they can film full seasons of their current shows.

28 year old me at the beginning of the prequel scene, trying to figure out what song is playing: oh, yep, that’s “Someday” by Flipside. So that’s what good retro sounds like in 50 years. ..lol. (I hope not) I remembering getting into this song in hs. I never fully got into the band but I did like the song. Also, I thought a woman was crying but it turned out to be Suraj sneezing.. that’s not a pointed comment, I’m just saying.

LMAO I bloody love Chris "We did Kings and Queens before and we ain't have no guillotines in the bunker so idk how we're solving that shit" Marketa: Windows to yeet them rulers. Me 10/10 Best couple confirmed!!!!

Also can I say I remember the first time bill came out for a bit in season 4 but I don’t think you guys remember that some of you joked about this cult leader being alive later on 🤣🤣

You should get Mickey to react to an episode with you guys.. so he can see how much the show has advance even if he doesn’t actually watch the show anymore. It would just be cool to see his reaction to how the show is now.

Yeah that’s true, however it was just confirmed by Murphy in a recent episode.

Awh shame they didnt discuss that Hope was missing in the final scene!

Bahaha I swear for god y’all predictions is outta this world lol if ya go back to episode 4x3 I think we’ll the four horsemen episode bill was in that episode for about 15 secs lol calliope was the first flame keeper. She never had the flame. Bill never got blood alterations. We still don’t know who the first commander was at this point and yes Clarke is lying. She don’t have the flame and only had it for a couple hours and how can y’all forget the Becca burning at the stake scene back in 5x11 I think it was. That was a classic lol damn I hope I didn’t spoil anything. I don’t think I have 😂😂. Great reaction as always my friends

(Prefacing this by saying I believe Bill is a crazy cult leader) Buuuut just playing devil's advocate here -- why are we all thinking Bill is NOT a prophet?? He formed a group (*cough* cult) and built a bunker because he foresaw the end of days. He also found the ONLY way to travel across space to land on a livable planet before the world ended. He basically started the rebuilding of civilization on another planet, which is sort of prophetic. People worship him because of all that he's done, how is that any different from any other religious icon?? Like Indra said about Russell, "is that not Godlike?" Just sayin', what actually makes a prophet a prophet, alot of lucky guesses? Wouldn't he qualify then? Just cuz he's kinda evil & out for himself doesn't negate the fact that he predicted all this shit, right? So he IS a prophet! 🤣

About Sheidheda, I know a lot of people have been saying that he was the commander before Lexa (even though it was never explicitly stated), but I don't think that makes sense chronologically. Indra said that when she was a girl, Sheidheda came to her village and made everyone bow before him, and I'd assume Indra is 40-50 (the actress is 49). If Sheidheda came before Lexa, he would've been the commander roughly 8-10 years before the season 5 time jump (since Lexa became commander at 12, reigned until about 20-22). If we assume Indra was about 10 years old or so when Sheidheda came to her village, using Indra's age as the main time reference, that leaves at least an almost 30-year gap for Sheidheda's rule (because we're assuming his rule started when Indra was 10 and ended when she was 40-ish when Lexa took over. Lexa then ruled for about 10 years, bringing us to Indra being almost 50 years old before the season 5 time jump). Also, OG Sheidheda looks like he's in his 20's when we see him in the flame with Madi (the actor is actually 25). Not only would a 30-year-long reign be highly unlikely in the grounder world, I don't think it would even be possible in this case, taking into account Sheidheda's age/appearance.

The grounders still spoke English, Lincoln confirmed back in season one that the warriors only spoke English along with the flamekeepers and the commanders. They still spoke it, they just used that language as like some kind of Morse code I’d say.

They didn’t forget English. The Grounders felt they needed a secret language to communicate with that the Mountain Men wouldn’t understand, but over time, English became demonized as the language of the enemy (The Mountain Men), so I think they stopped learning/teaching it to regular citizens. But we can see throughout the show that any soldiers, clan leaders, anyone high-up in grounder society speaks English fluently because they have to interact with the Mountain Men (that’s how they were able to create treaties). Also, I assumed there would be quite a few commanders over the 100-year period. I remember Titus said he’d served 3 commanders before Lexa and he wasn’t very old. Titus looked about 40-50’s. So if he became a flamekeeper at 20 or so, that would mean the commanders served about 6.5-10 years on average before death. It was also mentioned in season 5 or 6 that Lexa became commander at the same age as Madi, which would be about 12, and Lexa is estimated to be 20-22 when she dies, so she was one of the longer-living ones. But clearly people don’t live long on the ground (we don’t see many grounders over 30 in the show), so the amount could be anywhere from 10-15 commanders. Not a lot but more than a few.

I can't wait to see how this all plays out, what Becca saw, etc.

Im excited to see you guys react to the prequel when it aires !!! my dream ending of the prequel is either ending with the 100 landing on the ground and we see them standing there and the series ends or we see Clarke drawing on the floor in the ark and the series ends.

regarding english. Lincoln says that only the warriors know english.

Jeppe Oliver Danielsen

One small correction Suraj. The grounders never forgot English. Remember, only the warrior's were taught English (as well as Trigedaslang). Lincoln, Indra, etc already knew the language before the 100 touched down. The common people only knew how to speak Trigedaslang. At least that's how the show explained it in earlier seasons.
