This is for Suraj! I just saw the intro discussion for episode 80 and guys, you really don't have to close your eyes for the future openings. REALLY. It's fine it does not spoil anything , it literally just shows slight previews of what to expect but NOT spoilers. Think of them like any other opening from any other anime. So when Rana said why would tehy do that ? and Suraj said 'because they assumed everyone read the manga' thats not true. People are just being extra careful to warn you guys of spoilers but theyre also giving pre-importance to things for you that you otherwise wouldnt even know about anyways if you didn't have an audience telling you. So if you watched this when it was first on, you would just be like cool opening! but its not like youd be thinking wait this is spoiling everything! Look how long it took you guys to realize this current OP's scenes were symbols for what happens in the episodes. You didnt!! You just saw asuma fighting hidan really. The intros are so so dope and you would be depriving yourselves of their fucking glory. trust me the next few naruto openings are so well animated and they show previews of some of the fights but not in a spoilery way.

1. called it 2. not weird cool but maybe played out at this point in time since i've seen it a million times. movies, tv shows, comics so many heads talking not attached to bodies. deadpool, death becomes her, dracula (marvel comics), princess langwidere (ozma of oz), etc etc and so on. i wish i could remember what movie it was but they did this bit where a few people got their heads cut off and then they put the wrong body (guy girl, black white etc etc) so HILARIOUS hahaha

Genma is the guy who ran the final phase of the chunin exam. He had the stick in his mouth. Aoba was the man with crows. Raido is the man with the scar on his face. All 3 are Jounin and top class at that. Perhaps a tier below Asuma but not by much and still awesome characters. Some of the characters i wish we saw more with.

You’re not reading too much into it, they literally stole that move from Naruto and Shikamaru MINOR SPOILERS BELOW!!!! More so Shikamaru as it’s referencing how he used his shadow possession to trap Tamari. It’s just another small detail that ties this arc into Shikamaru and the idea of growing up and getting stronger. That scene is meant to represent Shikamaru’s past strength and how moves like that won’t be enough to beat Hidan and Kakazu
