[Premium Access] RWBY - 1x9 / 1x10 - The Badge and The Burden Part 1 / Part 2 - Group Reaction

Comments

I'm noticing a VERY distinct difference between how RWBY fans react to your reaction and basically almost every other show you guys have lol. I love RWBY, but I honestly dislike how people are almost OBLIGATING that you stay silent in certain times in these basically-8-minute-episodes. I generally read the comments before I watch your videos to get a good idea of how you guys loved/disliked it, like all your anime reactions. But these comments aren't even reacting to it; they're just ordering you around. It's gotta be somewhat annoying.

Oh look there a four shadows over there.

Rexamillion

Ehhh...the only appropriate response to that at the moment is "Spoiler spoiler spoilerspoilerspoilerspoiler" I hope that answered your concerns

FryLord

From a business standpoint, they're on point. Also, they react to a lot of stuff so if they have to get to a 30 minute series, this 10 minute one is convenient timewise. I've been going through the old stuff like when they binged avatar or days but still released them one at a time because that's how youtube content flows. Ad revenue, patreon stuff, it adds up over time.

FryLord

which is also why she leaves the room after, despite everyone else being in bed.

Ryan Kosier

One thing that always got me about this episode. Prof Ospin: "I have made more mistakes than every man, woman, and child, on this planet." Immediate cut Prof Pork: "I have followed Prof Ospin for many many years, and never has he ever led me astray."

Ryan Kosier

You guys really need to react to more of this at once. I get that you want to discuss after every episode, but at this rate you're literally watching 10 minutes per week, including the opening and ending. The only reason the show was like that originally was because they had no choice due to budget and not because it was how they actually wanted to present it, it's why they increased the episode length as soon as they could. It's an awful way to watch the show, I completely understand when some of you groan that it was over so quick.

Cains

I agree, especially when they're talking about an entirely different show/game. Mentioning it is fine, but sometimes they just sit on it and keep talking about it instead of listening to the show, we really don't care that much about the reference.

Cains

Couldn’t agree more

Vince92

This is just a bit of constructive criticism and my personal opinion, but I believe both the reaction and discussion aspect are being hindered greatly by the near constant talking over dialogue. I understand the excitement and need for some comments when exciting things happen, but sometimes there are full blown conversations taking place over important dialogue/lore. Example 1: When Pyrrha is talking to Jaune in the forest, they missed the part about Pyrrha explaining what aura is, which lead to misunderstanding in the following discussion. Example 2: They also talked over both Pyrrha and the professor’s lecture explaining that the creatures of grimm are soulless and seek only to destroy. This led to a long conversation about the morality of this, when it was explained why they should feel no sympathy. I’m not saying they should be quiet throughout the reaction because that would be boring, but it would probably benefit them to listen during lore and save references and really long comments for the after-discussion. I think they’ll have a rough time properly following if this continues this way. TL;DR: I personally think they should be careful about talking over dialogue, because they are missing things.

Justin Montgomery

I like how the phase it’s not just a kids show applies to this one especially as the series goes along

Victor Tinoco

Marketa the creature of Grimm Sympathizer. "bUt ThEy'Re In CaGeS".... Looks like the Normies have their first couch member to be on the enemy side.

Justin H'oman

Marketa Rana Mickey Damarin Suraj M R M D S Team Mermaids :D

Eli van Aggelen

My man Suraj be hating on Naruto recently x) lol... He gon' learn.

Keep It Zen

Oh man.... Suraj making comparison’s to Naruto’s growth when hasn’t even seen episodes 160 of Ship you Dan and onward yet. lol

Michael Diaz

I agree with the people asking for the soundtrack reactions after the seasons. They give context/perspective to the characters and story that they can't fit in the show. Also, fun fact: Ozpin drinks hot coco and not coffee.

You guys should react to the albums after each volume, they have a great songs that are kinda cannon kinda not but Weiss has amazing songs that help you get inside of her head and why she acts the way she does

TomNook

oh btw could you guys do soundtrack reactions/discussion the soundtracks do try to tell you more about what the characters are feeling inside and they are really good :=)

vesolan

Where did Weiss get the coffee? She already had it, she gave Ruby her coffee, because she takes it the same way, (or close enough).

Beowolf Chow

They’ve previously said they would in their own time.

Morgan Le Fay

These speculations, right or wrong, have me hype because they're projecting into the future and the fun part is how this shows writing changed so frequently so literally any speculation is free game.

FryLord

Also since these are recorded in advance and you are most likely either already done with Vol 1 or just wrapping up. A) there is an End Credits scene at the end of the last episode of each Volume B) Please please please PLEAAAASSE react to the soundtrack

Dominick Sermeno

I suggest World of Remnant 1-4 after Vol.1, 5-8 after Vol.2, 9-12 after Vol. 3, and 13-16 after Vol. 4

Edwin Ayala

I would highly recommend watching the RWBY: World of Remnant episodes. They basically give valuable in-depth information on the lore of RWBY that the show can’t stop and explain cuz its on average 12-15 minutes long for an ep. It would be best to watch them after watching the Volume they were released in.

Reynaldo Urena

lol Marketa too pure for this world

Yeah there are multiples of each of the Creatures of Grimm, you can think of them like very evil Pokemon. There isn't just one squirtle there are thousands and thousands. Boar = Boarbatusk Werewolf = Beowolf Two-headed Snake = King Taijitu Raven = Nevermore Scorpion = Death Salker Bear = Ursa And like Pokemon there are MANY other types but we will get to them eventually. Also Prof Peter Port said that there are 3 OTHER Kingdoms implying that there are a total of 4 Vale being one of them.

Dominick Sermeno

to be fair, what are they exactly won't be mentioned until the WoR: Grimm episode. Besides, so far there hasn't been an exact shot of how they "decompose".

rosen_fenrir

....Grimm are not animals. It was clearly explained they exist soley to destroy.

SaviorOfNirn

Also team names in RWBY are meant to represent colors
