[Premium Access] The 100 - 7x13 Blood Giant - Group Reaction + Uncut

So this episode was going as we've come to expect and then BAM out of left field our beloved Bellamy becomes victim to Wanheda. May We Meet Again Bellamy...seriously, like in the next episode preferably.

Bellamy's last words are "give this to the shepard", what a slap in the face.

J. J.

Jason didn't like Bob wanting time off so he wrote him off in the dumbest way possible, this series ends on such a low note. Hint: the rest doesn't get any better

J. J.

I love how the dog behind Rana is living his best life as from 20:36 😂😂😂😂

It was trash I’m still mad

DAki

Also Jessica Harmon (Niylah) directs episode 14, not 13 just so you know!

Well this episode showed why I cannot stand the 100 fandom. For everyone saying it was because there was a falling out, you have no proof of that and it is just rumors. Rumors that were made up by fans to have an excuse to hate Jason. Do I think it could have been written better? Yes. But I appreciate the death because I think it is more symbolic than people think it is. Bellamy went against Clarke in season 5 and put the flame in Madi’s head. The flame gave Madi those memories and he died because of it. His horrible decision in season 5 came full circle and cost him his life. I stand behind Clarke 100% because she did what she had to so that her DAUGHTER would be safe. Obviously she would have gone for the book, but she ran out of bullets and the writers had to keep the story going for 3 more episodes.

She needed to kill Bellamy because he was the only one that knew the book belonge to Madi. So even though Clarke left the book, the disciples wouldnt know what to make of it,

GOT Season 8 I Mean The 100 Season 7 Finale...smdh (screams WTF) cat wait to see yall react!

Ebony Williams

It would have changed nothing whether the notebook was taken or not, since Sheidheda was there!! The fact that Indra didn’t kill him, changed the course of events a lot lol

Dean Li

Also, Clarke didn’t take into account that Sheidheda was still in the room and conscious. If Indra have killed Sheidheda, it wouldn’t have worked towards the unfortunate result of Bellamy at the end

Dean Li

The "trash" ending had a lot to do with not being able to build up to it. They had a story they wanted to tell but Bob only being available for a few episodes made it so they couldn't really build up to any justifiable ending for him. They instead decided to focus on the people that were available and altered the scripts to fit the new direction. That decision was instead to focus on Clarke's emotional turmoil.

Zach Hershman

Am I the only one who was shocked and so excited that the show had the BALLS to actually have Clarke kill Bellamy? lol im sorry but if bellamy was killed any other way on the show I think it would of come off really stupid cuz Bellamy can hold his own and so that fact that he all of a sudden found this new faith and new beliefs and made him a softer person that bell used to be..it just was so perfect for me.. but thats just me! if a show can make me have a mental breakdown make me shocked and something i didn't expect them to do then i love it!!!

Nicole

Here's the thing: Jason hates Bellamy's character also he had some problems with Bob which is why he gave him a trash ending and that just shows how unprofessional he is

He died thinking he failed everyone he loves, after being mocked by his friends the whole episode, shot by his best friend in the heart and left alone to bleed out on the floor. He died without getting to say goodbye to his sister, who he spent his whole life trying to protect. He spent all of last season fighting to save Clarke's life (literally bringing her back to life), just for her to kill him with no remorse. Even though he was apart of the cult, he was actively still trying to save all his friends, begging them to believe in him, and they didn't give two shits. Clarke saw Bellamy as more of a threat to Madi than Sheidheda, who tortured and was actively trying to kill Madi just last season (and this season as well), and he was sitting RIGHT THERE, and she decided to kill Bellamy instead. There's SO many problems with Bellamy's death- it wasn't a death, it was character assassination. This is how they chose to kill of their male lead of 7 seasons, and its shitty writing, unforgivable, and has ruined my viewing experience of the show from now on. How am I supposed to watch this show, my favourite show, knowing that in the end, after everything they went through, they treated Bellamy this way. I will never be able to watch a Bellamy and Clarke scene and not think "what was the point?". The circumstances of his death ruined all the characters for me, especially Clarke, whos controversial actions i would always find a way to defend because I loved her character too. But i cannot defend this one.

I have watched this show for 5 years and Bellamy had been my favourite character since day 1. To spend SO much time and emotion on a show and your favourite character just for his story to end like that... I feel so cheated, baited, and feel that i never should've started watching the show in the first place. He was presumed "dead" the whole season, came back for 2 episodes to join a cult, and then died again. Shot by HIS BEST FRIEND. Not one character fought to understand where he was coming from, his traumatic experience in Etherea, why he would join the cult... they all wrote his off as irredeemable so quickly, which is so stupid compared to the amount of other stupid things all these characters have been forgiven for (JUST last season Murphy was working with Josephine and willing to let Clarke die so he could gain immortality, after he went through a traumatic experience as well, and everyone forgave him without blinking an eye). Keep in mind, in the shows timeline, Bellamy was only part of this cult for 2 DAYS. After everyone these characters have been through (ESPECIALLY Bellamy and Clarke) how tf did they give up on him so easily and so quickly?

I will say one thing about the whole situation that I find ABSOLUTELY hilarious and ironic... When a beloved character of a part of the fandom was killed in an almost same manner (didnt make sense, was irrelevant to the story, and just plain sucked) The Bellamy stans came for blood with their "Its Just a TV Character" and "Get over it" BS.... Well I just wanna say Touché.... please dont be hypocritical about Bellamys death when most of yall fans killed Lexa fans for having the SAME REACTION AS YALL 🤣🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ So yes, I am actually Ecstatic that Bell is dead. If that's what it took for people to open their minds to JRats BS then I'm sorry, but yall shouldve seen this coming miles away 🤷‍♂️👍

Infinitely Bi

Two things I want to mention from the perspective of this episode (and season as a whole), is this: 1. With Bellamy, I think Suraj was spot-on when he said this was character assassination. On one hand, he has always tended to follow a leader he deemed to be the right choice, but for everything he went through with his friends, I find it hard to believe they would all write each other off the way they did, and so quickly. I think this was a product of an end of series that wasn’t taken to its best path. And 2. with not grabbing the book... Clarke didn’t realize she was running out of bullets. She knew the portal was closing, and intended to leave none of the Sheppard’s followers around, but she ran out of ammo and needed to get back to Madi, so I feel that was the only choice that she could make. Otherwise, they would have either captured or killed her too.

D.J.

suraj looks and sounds like most of the 100 twitter did a few weeks ago

B00ch

The sky would be red if the Normies ever got something right through a full reaction lmao

MojoJojoGojo

As much as I loved Bellamy as a character I'm not so shocked that he died, because he has only been in a few episodes this whole season. I'm not even shocked that it was clark that killed him since we've seen before that she will do anything for Madie. But the fact that she killed him and didn't even get the book so she killed him for nothing really pissed me off. They could have given him a better death.

Jehan Dahir

Great post!! You make some great points. I agree with alot of what you said. Especially if Bellamy had been in more of the season, maybe his death at the end would have been more palatable. I wish they had shown us his standalone episode earlier and also filmed a bunch of scenes of like him and Catogan and sprinkled them in to the episodes, that way he would have had his break but the character's turn would have been more gradual and acceptable.

bits

Bellamy’s death was very underwhelming for me. I was shocked and baffled but also felt a kind of emptiness. I think it’s because ever since he reunited with his friends, his behavior towards them was out of character. Specifically in terms of explaining things to them about his beliefs ..he explained things SO ...so.. vaguely. I get he was actively trying to suppress his emotional connections with them.. but, yeah, his way of explaining things was so fucking frustrating. And everyone else’s behavior towards him didn’t feel reasonable to me either as characters. The fact that they outright dismissed him and wrote him off instead of inquiring more of the specifics of it... of his experience leading him to convert.. more about their mission/beliefs, besides their fucking vague mission statement of fighting the war to end all wars. ugh.. that was the most annoying, unrealistic frustrating part of this whole season. Bellamy’s underwhelming shitty death was a side effect of that. And yes, another layer of stupidness was Clarke not grabbing that fucking notebook 🤬

Alexis Cardarella

I’m so happy you guys were able to watch this episode without any spoilers. This episode deserved a pure honest reaction. I also hope that you all continue to watch it until the end. I know some viewers stopped after this episode. Although I hoped for the Bellarke endgame I am still satisfied with the series as a whole. I can understand why it happened the way it did. I don’t agree with the character assassination, because they filmed this before the allegations. John Rothenberg has even said in an interview that Bellamy was supposed to make it to the end, but when he asked for time off they had to rewrite it

Ericca Johnson

And yes, this killed Clarke for me too. I didnt like Clarke in season 5 at all, but I enjoyed her development last season A LOT. And a huge part of that development was about earning forgiveness for leaving Bellamy to die in the arena, "her biggest regret", and her telling Bellamy she "would never forget he's her family too" when he told her he understood because Madi was her family. What was the point of all of that, none? It just feels like their entire relationship was thrown away, along with every other of his relationships by the way. And Clarke went right back to her season 5 "mothers are only allowed to be mothers they're not allowed to be anything else" persona.

Mar

So you finally watched THE episode. I see very diverse opinions on the comments, that's good. I personally have never been more dissapointed with a show before, and that's saying a lot. I was already not liking the season at all, I think i've commented as much before. Many characters are not acting like themselfs, and I have so many issues with the plot, it honestly feels like I am watching a different show with different characters. So, the last scene on this episode just did it for me. It was not just this scene, it was everything about Bellamy this season. First, why did they think he was dead in the first place, the disciples and octavia and the rest? Like they knew the anomaly was open there was an explotion and no body or blood or anything, and then Levitt realizes by watching a video in slow motion? There was already no body! I was so confused about the whole thing honestly. Then he starts believing in Cadogan and everything which, I could understand that because of everything he went through. What I don't get is how little any of the others tried to understand him at all. Like he clearly was doing what he though would save everyone, and still cared about them. But they just didnt try at all. Bellamy is the character that has the strongest bonds with other mains: Octavia, Clarke, Murphy, Raven, Echo. But they just gave up on him in like two days. What a joke. I'm not even gonna talk about his death scene, just the fact that Sheidheda is still there alive, he knows about the book AND actually wants Madi dead. But she kills Bellamy and leaves. Again, a joke.

Mar

debatable

AnEnthusiasticKoala

unless you are a parent yourself.. you will NEVER understand what you will do for the love of your child. period.

Nicole

You are not she was out of bullets seems like people are forgetting. She killed bell to stop him getting the book. She left because she thought Clarke was more valuable to madi than her need to destroy the book. Clarke should have thrown the book into the anomaly maybe. But yeah you're not the only one who sees that.

C Note

Firstly, thank god y’all watched this with minimal spoilers because the comments in the previous reactions are borderline hinting this outcome. I really wanted to see your uninfluenced genuine reaction so it was really annoying to see people venting about future episodes. Having said that, I do think Bellamy’s death was executed poorly. It’s not so much about the death itself or the reason behind it. It’s the build up to it that left me unsatisfied. It’s not a “Oh no, they killed off a character I like” feeling. It’s more of a “Why am I not feeling his death as much as I thought I should?” Let me start with the good part. The occurrences leading to his death makes sense (at least for me). Clarke regretted leaving Bellamy in the fighting pits to die. She made him aware of that. However, it never crossed her mind that one of these days, her best friend will follow a cult and put her daughter’s safety in jeopardy. If both Bellamy and Madi are in danger, of course she will do her best to save both. But in this scenario, she was being forced to choose and obviously, in the heat of the moment, her motherly instincts prevailed. This is why I think The 100 embodies the tragedy aspect of the show extremely well. Bellamy promising Madi’s safety to Clarke wasn’t necessarily all bullshit. She knows he cares for Madi greatly. However, she also knows his beliefs is much more important to him more than anything. Him sending Clarke to MCAP confirmed that for her. Clarke failing to retrieve Madi’s sketchbook because she ran out of bullets and time is just the cherry on top. She killed her best friend for nothing. In reality, not all deaths will be meaningful. Bellamy being a main character and having gone through a lot of character development with Clarke (The Heart and the Head) dying unceremoniously reminded us of that so I guess there was still a message in his demise in a way. The bad part really as I said is how it was all executed. Bellamy disappeared since the first episode, reappeared as a brainwashed cult follower 10 episodes after, then killed off 2 episodes later. In retrospect, a character going out like this especially as a lead would leave a bitter taste on anyone’s mouth. His lack of presence made me set my expectations differently for his character (thinking his arc would be way much bigger) but my expectation was diverged and not in a good way. I like Bellamy’s character but he isn’t my favourite yet I still found his death to be lacklustre. I also dislike how Octavia and Echo will find out Bellamy’s death through someone else. I felt like it would be much more emotionally impactful if they saw Bellamy’s final moments first hand. Honestly, if Bellamy wasn’t absent in the previous episodes and if he played a much bigger role (even as an adversary for Clarke), I think these sudden turn of events would be one of the best (personally) and one of the most unexpected. A lot of people think Jason did this to Bellamy’s character deliberately because they had some disagreements in the past but in the same breath, Bob himself also asked for time off (allegedly because of mental issues surrounding Eliza’s miscarriage). Also, just to let you know, they filmed the entire season way before Bob’s allegations with her ex girlfriend came up. Whatever the reason may be, I think it’s too personal for anyone to make conclusions on without any direct evidence so I humbly advise anyone to refrain from getting too personal with the people behind this show just because we dislike what’s happening on a fictional show. Finally, I just want to say that this didn’t ruin the story for me and I hope y’all could see past this events (regardless of your opinion on it) and enjoy the rest of the remaining episodes.

Episode was literally Fck Your Blarke it dies with Bellamy lol poor Suraj the denial was so real can we get a rant

MojoJojoGojo

Yes it was character assassination but am I the only person and reactor that sees why Clarke left the book? She shot Bellamy to get the book then tried to shoot the other disciples. But guess what? She ran out of bullets. The portal was about to close and she didn’t have time to fight them off and make the portal so she had to choose between fighting the disciples or loose her chance of making that portal. Bill is the only one that knew the code to wherever they were headed. I mean it’s a perfect logical choice. She didn’t know she only had one bullet left IMO. 😂

suraj was literally me saying "no he's not" and Raina was my moms reaction lmfao

izzy

Suraj is a mood. I'm still in shock about it.

I NEED a Suraj rant video. I feel like he was restraining himself the whole discussion. Make it happen Normies lol

Kamina 1

This was an amazing episode it shows how people would actually act if they had to go through even half of this shit not a single one of us wouldn't be broken after the events of this show...great job the 100 yall making this final season amazing

Rando calrissian

Suraj's face: "When you realize that was the end of Bellamy's character, and his whole purpose in the show was to be another thing on the list of tough calls Clarke had to make".... But wait. Clarke murder's her bestfriend to prevent the disciples from getting their hands on Maddie's book, but jumps through the portal WITHOUT the book? LOL the definition of a character that didn't matter in the long run. Looking back at this season overall though, i think it was a really good season of The 100. My favorite next to s4, and s5. As bad of a job the showrunner has done with Bellamy, and Clarke's character's. This season did wonder's for Raven, Murphy, Emori, Echo, Diyoza, Octavia, Gabriel, Indra, the list goes on and on. I'll give it a passing grade.

Kamina 1

Also Jessica Harmon directed episode 14 Not 13.

C Note

On a positive note. Rana’s camera quality tho >>

Zee

The Clarke in s4 in ep would not kill bellamy, the clarke post s4 would definetly kill bellamy. She almost did it again in s5. This is not surprising to me. This is not the bellamy show yeah. One character will not destroy the whole show. Clarke would do anything to protect madi But to each their own. Even if clarke did get the book and Bellamy died sheidheda is still alive. Even if she got the book and bellamy was alive it would still have the same outcome. I'm not disagreeing with you on the basis that it was not done the best. However you cannot use the excuse that Clarke would never kill bellamy post 5 after she has tried to do it 3 times. Anyway since this ep ruined the show for you. I guess I will never see you in the comments again as you probaly stopped watching the show since its dead for you. I respect your opinion personally clarkes motivations made sense .

C Note

A big IF. All we know is that the asked for time of. The rest is speculation at best.

C Note

Suraj had the appropriate reaction lol

MAY

And Suraj you have no idea how much I feel with you, this was truly heartbreaking in the fandom, so many people didn't even finish the rest of the season after this. And as I said, that death isn't a problem, but HOW is a problem, it was so disrespectful towards both characters and mostly towards fandom. And not, it wasn't due to the Bob allegation, shooting was already finished in March this year and those allegations came in the Summer.

Petra

This episode killed the whole show for me. The issue is not that death itself, I expected that Bellamy can die but what I didn't expect that he will get the dumbest and worst-written death on this show. What pisses me off how quickly everyone gave up on him, no one tried to talk to him or try to understand his experience. They all were acting like he was starting to killing everybody while he only had different beliefs but he still wanted to save everyone, he still loved his people. Most of them did far worse things. Just last season Murphy was working with an enemy who "killed" Clarke and now everyone sees him as a hero. Clarke is alive just because Bellamy refused to give up on her last season just so she could kill him now in cold blood for NO REASON. Clarke as a character died here with Bellamy for me. They ruined their whole relationship (and not, I'm really not talking about a romantic relationship here), their whole development means nothing now, they just threw it out of the window This should be one of the biggest and meaningful deaths of this show, but when you go through all the reactions, no one even cried, most of the people just couldn't believe that someone could write something so stupid. I'm sorry for this negative post, it is just how I feel about this death, I truly hope that it will work for others better and that you will enjoy it and maybe you can be satisfied with this death.

Petra

there was alot of drama with the creator of the show. the actor who played lincion also left the show due to him, and has spoken out about him before. the creator also gets into fights with fans on twitter, usually bellarke shippers who are a large majority of this fanbase. even if you dont ship them, the creator numerous times has been rude and disrpestcful to his fans who legit promote his show in their spare time when there only upset as the creator has baited them (theres legit tweets from the past where the creator strung bellarke fans along alluding to the fact bellarke will happen one day lol so they watch). Bob morely even tweeted after filming that he finally saw what us fans sees and thanked us after all the "baiting and bruising". this was written before the allegations and bob morley did take time off this season due to mental health issues, however, some drama with bob and the creator definity occurred because of him taking time off.

Bellamy's death made no sense, he was the main male lead and even side characters had better death scenes than him.Even if things were happening behind the scenes as a producer/writer you need to keep it professional.

Appreciate this post , poorly handled or not it ain’t ruin shit for me

Robert

His death made no sense to me. It wasn’t the fact that he died that bothered me it was how. The whole lead up was just bad writing imo.

Mo

This,is the episode we weebs have been waiting for them to react too

Jarryd Thompson

At first I was annoyed, I think that what happened could have been handled better.  However upon thinking about it the 100 is a ballsy show and always has been and his willing to go dark places shows never have. This is a show about survival, and what we are willing to do to survive and also protect the ones we love. I'm sad Bellamy did not get to say goodbye. But that's realism in this post apocalyptic world not every story ends perfectly in a neat and tight bow. Lool at Jasper for example. In life you dont always get to have some long goodbye to your loved ones before you pass. It's just how it is. As for Clarke motivations, I 100 percent understand why she did what she did to save madi, Bellamy had the knowledge of what that book entailed without that knowkged the book would be pointless. I do think clarke killed bellamy for madi but clakre should have done whatever it takes of it means her life to get the book and that point she was looking out for herself cause he believed her being there alive for madi would be better than throwing the book into th4 anomaly. Her decions were not perfect but that's life decions are imperfect, you do what you think it's right, some people dont get to have redemption. You can love characters all you want I love characters, but lets not forget this show is about what we do to survive and protect our loved ones whether it is perfect or not.  But this no reason to say the show is over or the show is ruined because one main character was killed off poorly that scene did not ruin the whole show. But to each their own. I think that’s the best part of the show is they never sugar coat the reality of life. I have not spoiled anything here. If you reply to this please extend the same courtesy

C Note

was waiting for this one.
