ive watched this on rt tv, heistuen, and the normies patreon just to see how people would react to naruto's confusion. i never had a dad growing up and when i met him i wasnt sure if i was supposed to be happy or mad? the pain naruto seeing minato i could relate to and all i wanted to do was punch my old man so that he could understand a sliver of what i felt when i was alone

I think what makes the end of this fight so great is that it's exactly the kind of fight we'd see in pre-shippuden. The rocks thing really reminded me of his Neji plan haha

He went to pain and kicked him in the direction of the rubble he himself was standing on before, traced the real pain and threw 2 rasenshuriken at him knowing if the dude dodged both he had his backup rubble hundreds of clones ready to take him by surprise when he thought Naruto was out of juice. That’s some shikamaru level shit strategy because it was thought of instantly and several steps in advance and even considering his failure chances. That was fucking genius. Naruto battle iq is off the charts. I also love how he was thinking about Hinata when his dad was talking about love and precious things/people and how he was so concerned for her specifically and was so happy when he knew she was alive. I think our boy is falling in love without even noticing 🥰

Naruto is severely AHDH and it shows in his training. He couldn’t concentrate to make the rasengan. He had trouble with the rasenshuriken as well and that’s why he came up with using the clones. Sage mode helps him a lot because he needs to be completely at calm and very still, like meditating and that makes him activate his brain in a way his AHDH never let him before. He thought this plan in advance! He created the clones and turned them into rubble when he was falling from the rock ball because he had thought of his plan already

I think Naruto was more shocked and in awe at seeing the Hokage he admired the most right in front of him, impossibly too. That's why he was so slow in picking up what Minato was saying.

Ok so you know how Shadow clones are created by a distribution of your chakra and then manifested in the physical world, what Minato did is something similar. He created a "chakra clone" and kept it inside the sealing jutsu to come out if Naruto ever goes 8 tails mode.

I still disagree with what Minato said about Pain being used by Madara! I can't say anything now But pain's goal was truly different. His mind set was changing after the death of his best friend. And his goals/dream became the same as yahiko's! Way before Nagato met Madara! Nagato had already had his goals planned before the Akatsuki happend. But That's IMO! Also Minato has 0 info of Madara's goals. So he has 0 context of what he thinks Pain is being used for...
