2021-04-10 01:23:14 +0000 UTCThe R rating had me a bit confused in the beginning, but after the credits they just hit a switch and stopped kidding around. The whole episode is just a setup for the actual show to start. Including the pg combat scenes and the lack luster cliché writing on things like throwing that ball without killing somebody. The Rip-off Lustice League... Even the animation quality gets better and better throughout the episode. This is only really apparent on the second watch though. Really smart writing to subvert expectations.
