2021-04-24 07:50:58 +0000 UTCI do think this episode is a good example of Leslie defaulting to steamroller behavior before going out of her way to try and make things right. This show has to balance the tenacity she needs for a life in politics with actual people skills. For me, the same qualities that make her someone I’d want to have on my side in a political fight also make her a very intense friend. Woof, the food poisoning scenes! I have had food poisoning that gnarly and unfortunately it was during a camping situation with about 60 other people. Half of us got sick over the course of a couple weeks. We were there to do some infrastructure projects for Lakota folks in the South Dakota badlands and those of us who didn’t get food poisoning got heat exhaustion. I was working the medic tent, it was kinda full on. We managed to get better refrigeration for our group meals in the years after.
