It’s definitely POPPIN. Cuz I’m seeing more reactions to it and I started watching them as well as the show itself. Not only do I like every volume so far, but there’s a lot of cool fight scenes and a lot of deep story arcs for different characters. They’re really going through it and the story has really evolved. I’m very interested in seeing where it goes. Also I love Ruby Rose herself. Idky but she specifically is unique to me for a main character. She just seems cool.

It ain't poppin? Is that why it made the final cut of Ready Player One and has caught on in Japan?

All the flashbacks are pre volume 1....the old outfits are a big clue...Weiss doesn't have her scar as well, and Winter was not in Atlas while Weiss was stuck in her room in volume 4. Weiss headed to Mistral to meet up with Winter

The importance of these Character Shorts is in the Dialogue, not the fight scenes..
-Winter won’t always be around to save Weiss. Weiss has always had someone there to protect her (Winter, her family servants, Team RWBY) up until Volume 5 where she is on her own for the first time.
-Ruby has no hand to hand combat skills & freezes up without her scythe. Yang needs to avoid using her semblance as a “last resort”. Ruby & Yang have been working on these flaws in Volumes 4-5.
-Ilia’s monologue is the biggest take away from these shorts. It gives background to her character & why she has become such a radical member of the White Fang in recent years. It also highlights Blake & Ilia’s friendship, which makes the moment even more jarring when Ilia calls out the Belladonna’s for being the ‘worst’ of the Faunus.
