Hallo everynyan!! Happy Cherry Crush Fri-,I mean, Mashed Banana Friday! Here's the second episode!
I had to postpone the hole post bc ... i had to do my taxes AND IM STILL MISSING FORMS 😭😭😭 ive been doing my own taxes for 5 years so it's not that bad but its still super stressful.. just bc amendments take so freaking long and with the current president its like.. do i even wanna pay taxes to this fucking guy💀 but anyways.. I hope everyone else is also surviving this tax season if u're american .. thoughts and prayers
I wasn't sure what to do with this series because there could be a million ways these two could go.. their dynamic is really fun, but their dynamic with other people is not that fun because both of them are very easy going characters, like on a chill scale from 1 to 10 i'd have to put Kangshiro at like 2 and Cherie at like an 8, that guy has zero chill 😭but maybe that's why people like them together so much, they feel less chaotic despite their occupation kjdsnfas and yes.. Kang is a huge red flag, oh what did everyone think the son of two crimelords would be a good person?G?Ffsadjkkj but you don't need to be a good person to love right? maybe mashiro can fix him, who knows, mashiro's not even that good either so they are quite a fun pair to write for!
I also wanted to give a follow-up on that plot thread with Kang's "punishment" and.. its not actually a punishment at all.. KangShiro mirrors CherieCrush in the way that they're both two pairs living in exile, with one being vasty more wealthy and living lavish while the other sleeps tucked in a mountain in the middle of nowhere.. That's why this is a perfect interlude after season 3 because this.. technicalllyyy IS canon but it doesn't interfere with season 4's plot in anyway! So I can literally write whatever I want.. within reasons of course..!
