Happy Cherry Crush Friday evernyan!
Boy.. this episode.. it's a monster, like, literally, because not only is super big (i had to re-scale it multiple times bc webtoon said it was too fat kms). It's also a flashback heavy episode, that's from a non main character's POV, who's literally so new in the series that nobody can even remembered his name (90% of webtoon readers just call him blondie or yellow guy 😭😭😭😭)
Now that Chohan has met Cherie, I have more reasons to show other character's POVs now!! Which is whyyyy I waited so long to show Kang's POV, a really important character for season 3 that was actually present in season 2..! it's a monster episode to script, I had to cram all of Kang's childhood into one episode, and somehow weave it into the current story.. Whenever I read flashback chapters/episodes, I always get annoyed that the story had to stop to tell the flashback, so I wanted to use Kang's flashback to tell the other side of the story on the night of Sodam's wedding, because back then, the comic stopped showing the party when Cherie went back home, but we all know it didnt end there.😔
Kang likers are winning dis episode, that's for sure. He is basically parallels crush in a way, theyre both someone who grew up in a crime syndicate, just different parents, and different parents make very different kids..! One of those differences is that Crush knew not to tell Cherie to calm down 😭😭😭 Because this is kang's POV and inner monologue, you'll notice that his narration is a lot sillier than Cherie and Crush's, whose inner voices are way more flowery and melancholic, kang just talks like he's talking to himself, which is like talking to the viewer..! This episode is a tone shift from the rest of the WEBTOON bc for the first time you're seeing old events through another character's eyes! It's like reading a crossover episode almost, since Kang is basically the "main character" in this one!
That's all for the yap this episode, I'll take a one week break from Patreon after next Friday, which is right after the episode 92 goes live, so I can catch up on drawing the comic and maybe rest a little.. but I'll still post updates! it's just a one week hiatus for the comic, pls don't be too sad... I'm so sorry 😭😭😭😭

Kang is just like me we're both dumb asf! he just like me fr! Poor baby kang though, he was just a silly little guy, who was actively being pushed to NOT be a silly little guy, still love him though. also, kangshiro might be a thing, or something, who knows.
