Added 2025-06-09 22:47:55 +0000 UTCI've been gouache painting a lot lately because it is FUN and I enjoy it very much. :D I love mixing colors and creating cohesive color palettes. I love watching the watery pigments swirl on the paper and bloom and settle into new shapes. I love using the brushes to create unexpected textures and finishes. the water, paints, and paper interact in real time, coming alive before my eyes, becoming an interconnected entity with parts in conversation with one another. it's, funnily enough, the look I've been trying to recreate digitally for so long. I love digital art, but its capabilities are its own and sometimes there aren't substitutes. I feel like I'm just at the start of my painting journey and I'm really excited to learn more as I continue!

DO EET!!! Iโm still using the paints you gifted me and theyโre so good. iโve never heard of this movie (google tells me itโs what dreams may come?) but it does sound rly sad ๐ญ
