2022-01-15 22:32:01 +0000 UTCI've had maybe dozens of cats throughout my life, all strays/ferals we've taken in. The only minor quibble is the suggestion that feral cats are hopeless. He's right that you need to neuter them, and that all you can do after that is feed them. But sometimes, for some cats, they'll decide after months or a year "oh okay you aren't that scary you give me food and have never hurt me" and will let you pet them and take them in.

My local area is phasing in cat containment rules including all new suburbs being compulsory cat containment 24/7 and i am so keen
