SPOTIFY PLAYLISTS & MESSAGES!
Adal's December Playlist and message:
A very exciting month! Mid-December Jemma and I are going to Wizarding World for a few days and then we're off to NYC to see Little Shop of Horrors and Hadestown! I'm also working on a few new podcasts/projects that will hopefully make their way to you in the first few months of the new year!
For recommendations this month:
1. go see Knives Out! A bunch of (B list? I guess?) stars getting chew up the screen with hilarious characters. Scratches that CLUE itch all day.
2. for tv - The Dragon Prince season 3 is out on Netflix. Charming show from some of the Airbender folks. The Crown season 3 is less animated but just as good. Watchmen took awhile to hook me but holllllly shit episode 6 is one of the best episodes of any tv show ever. Also duh, Mandalorian is great. Baby Yoda? Shrek me daddy. ("Baby" Yoda is 50. Calm down.)
3. for video games - just finished Luigi's Mansion 3! It's instantly in my top 10 favorite all time games. Incredibly satisfying for my OCD brain to vacuum up everything. Just stated Return to Obra Dinn which is fantastic and puzzle based. Also going to start Undertale soon which Zach Reino assures me is the absolute best. I bought the new PS4 bundle with a system and 3 badass games (God Of War, The Last Of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn), so if you know of any other PS4 games I MUST play, please let me know in the comments here or DM or something. I gotta know what's HOT. Recs for Daddy?
4. this is the season to watch my video of me walking through my friend Louie's apartment after we wrapped everything inside of it. (he trusted me to house sit. huge mistake). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afreOsPe83M
Also worth watching his reaction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvoYm3psHgs
5. My sister Sadieh is doing a show currently at Red Orchard Theater in Chicago called Grey House. It's weird, fucked up, creepy, scary, thought provoking and overall one of my favorite shows I've seen her in! Go check it out as it closes soon! https://aredorchidtheatre.org/
6. Check out and support the Patreon by Jasmin Darnell who's done some incredible art for us including the 'Baby Baby Crab Rangoon' shirt! https://www.patreon.com/jdarnell
Here's my Spotify playlist! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3Cxw65l5msQHGzFJQ9zLNv?si=I3x-CRbsRSeDAvDhXB0r_w
Comments on a few tracks: 1. I had to 2. My favorite all time xmas song 4. makes me laugh every time 8. from my favorite xmas movie - Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas 9. This MOTHERFUCKER has got to be KIDDING! A Christmas song?! I want to say stay in your lane but honestly I'm now obsessed with this dude and his bonkers ass shenanigans. Honestly all I want for Christmas is Boris Pickett or Monster Mash merch. Please spread the word.
This past month I guested on The Teachers Lounge and Is This Adulting? so please check out both those podcasts!
and finally Hello From the Magic Tavern will be touring in January so I hope to see some of you across the US! Please bring me something to remember you by?
We'll be in: Atlanta, Charlotte, Portland, Seattle and San Francisco (with Trace Beaulieu! a hero of mine!). You can find all dates and tickets here: https://hellofromthemagictavern.com/live-episodes/
sorry for rambling!

Erin's December Playlist and message:
Ohhh it’s December! This should be fun!
I just saw Knives Out and I think it the most fun you can have while watching a movie. So go see that!
Here is my ultimate holiday playlist. This is perfect for passive December listening. Put this on while your cooking, decorating, or killing your family.

The best Christmas album of all time is Harry Connick Jr.’s “When My Heart Finds Christmas” but this mix is a good variety of all the best holiday songs. Happy December everyone! I’ll check back in in the new year when I’m totally different and glamorous.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Next month we'll be doing a show for Sketchfest in San Francisco! Our show is Saturday January 18th at 1pm and we're performing with another Bostonian, Rob Corddry (The Daily Show, Ballers, Hot Tub Time Machine) and we are WICKED excited. The show may just be 60 minutes of us four saying Phoebe P. Peabody Bebe. So know that. I think we might have a bit of time after to meet folks so hopefully we see you there and get to say hello and take goofy pictures. Tickets can be bought here: https://sfsketchfest2020.sched.com/event/XprE/hey-riddle-riddle
ALSO we're coming to NYC to do two shows at Caveat Theater on Saturday February 22nd! The first show is 7pm and the late show is 9pm. I thiiink we're about 50% or so sold out so don't sleep on this! We will try and say hi to folks after both shows if possible but it'll be a tight turn around! After the 9pm we are doing a 30 minute sort of Talk Back/Q&A/Panel thang so maybe come prepared with questions? OH! and for all our live shows, make sure you bring riddles!! Friday the 21st Adal & Erin are going to see Hadestown so that's exciting! Tickets for both NYC shows are here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hey-riddle-riddle-live-caveat-7pm-9pm-show-tickets-83246621887
We had so much fun in our November Livestream playing Family Feud with some of you! Hoping to find more games and what not to interact with you all on as well as continue to answer questions and do bits. Our December Livestream I believe will have a bit of gift giving among us so you won't want to miss it!
New D&D episodes are still happening we just had to push that back a bit!
We have a new AMA episode we'll be releasing soon since we hit 1500 five star reviews! We can't stress enough how much rating and reviewing helps get us seen and fuck we'll ALWAYS take that sweet sweet word of mouth if you don't want to rate/review us!
What else?
Our next Review Crew episode for the $8 tier comes out shortly! We'll be reviewing LOST pilot episode (parts 1 & 2) if you want to watch before listening!
As always please let us know if there's anything you'd like to see included in these by either emailing us at hrrpodcast@gmail.com, putting it in the comments here on Patreon or posting in the Discord channel: patreon-newsletter.
I'm sure this is plagued with typos/poorly constructed sentences but it's 4:34am and I need to go to bed! Fries and Brisket are screaming at me. So I guess we will all live with these mistakes.
Riddy Holidays and a Puzzy New Year!
love,
Adal, Erin & JPC aka The Clue Crew

2021-07-31 21:11:48 +0000 UTCObra Dinn was my game of the year. Hope you enjoy, especially if that enjoyment is part of a Review Crew episode. If you want another great puzzler, I'd recommend the adorable Baba is You.
