On the topic of parrots as pets, I wanted to share with the HRR crew a picture of my best bird, Charli. He was an 11yo budgerigar with feet issues, so he lived in a mouse cage and was carried around on people's palms like the king he was. He was very gentle and sweet. https://imgur.io/dXNgyzW?r
