Painting and Drawing Inspiration from a Giant Isopod

I was looking for inspiration in dark, scary characters when this guy from the ocean popped up on my Pinterest. Eventually, I shifted towards a character that had a profession commonly associated with blue in its uniform and also shell-like shapes. The Japanese police not only have these traits but also the motorcycle looked like a giant isopod to me. Yeah, I know it's kind of hard to spot, but I pushed this concept a bit for both to resemble.
