Time to create the name of the game world!
Added 2022-09-09 02:24:00 +0000 UTCIn our last Patron chat, we decided to come up with some ideas for the game world where the seasons of the show take place (we're looking for a "realm" name, along the lines of Forgotten Realms, Golarion, Middle-Earth, etc.) So, let's throw some ideas out there, and I'll compile them and start a poll!
EDIT: Wow! I had no idea you would be this engaged with the name choosing. There’s an embarrassment of riches here :) It’s going to take me some time to go through these and compile a list for the poll. Stay tuned!

Draumgard, sort of like Midgard in the Norse sagas, it means "The land of Dreams"
2022-09-13 00:33:03 +0000 UTCLet's add some Finnish words to the list. There's only few million speakers in the world so 99% of people will think it's invented nonsense: "Yksin" (means alone), "Unhola" (forgotten place), Hajala (spread out/broken place), I avoided words with umlauts.

I like the "World of Everwild" because it implies that it will never truly be conquered or civilized, and will forever be a place of adventure and excitement! Also, giving it a nickname like "The Playground of the Gods" may be fun, seeing as the power/will of the Gods has come into play at several major turning points in many of the stories now. It could be on a plane where the Gods are a little closer than normal, and therefore their influence is stronger/more frequent!

Merdox (Mer because the gods we know of so far have all been water based even Illosia who is healing, life giving etc.) We could name the world after the leader of the gods, whoever that is. Another approach suggested by another fan is to abbreviate, which gives me Mimth which stands for "Magic Item Makes The Hero" in recognition of Simon's inability to shoot straight before Edbert handed him Stonebolt.
