Don’t freak out at Patron annual renewal time…
Added 2023-01-18 21:38:48 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Wanted to share an email from one of our Patrons here as a kind of “warning” about Patreon’s weird renewal procedures. I assure you, all is well, and no pricing has changed, but I don’t want anyone to get confused. Anyway, here’s the email:
“hi Trevor, Patreon just sent me a mail saying I'd be renewing my d10 subscription for $663 per year. It looks like it is ok in the end but several different valutas are being presented to me (turns out I'll be paying 663 Danish Crowns which is about right). I don't know if other people in other coin types get weird mails but this might be enough to scare people away. I don't know how to inform Patreon or if they'd do anything. I posted some more pics in the General channel of Discord if you'd be interested in seeing pictures (Jenny). Just thought I'd mention it!”

2023-01-21 23:42:38 +0000 UTCI've gotten a similar thing. Another Patreon was locking content, and it told me I could see it by subscribing at the $180 tier o_O (it was actually 180 Swedish crowns, or like 18 USD) I did report it to Patreon's support, which was actually pretty tricky to do. 🙄
