Decision on Faction Play, and Megadungeon

Always take care of your health first! We're all still here for you no matter when Season 3 starts. As for the faction play idea, if you do end up with factions, it might be cool to have an in-game character picture (like the Duke of Random Place) or at least a cool flag with a symbol representing the faction in the Zoom that will be on-screen rather than the actual patrons being on camera. That way, it's clear who they are representing no matter which real life person is representing the faction that week. Just a thought. Feel better!

Trevor, don't worry about getting things on track, just recover. I love your idea of fractions influencing the campaign, even if its only primary background flavor that's fine. Your idea for using the mega dudgeon after season 3 is a brilliant suggestion, a nice gap filler, love what your doing. Sleep and rest, oh maybe read a book or two (or listen to them) that always helps me.

There's no rush Trevor, get better first, then you can hit the road running. (You sound bloody awful at the moment_) I'm sure we can wait a few more weeks for season 3 (not that we have a choice ;) ) I'm sure you, (if you're like me,) have a mountain of metal/plastic figures that need painting that you can do to relax. Just take it easy and get better soon.

Sounds like you have thought things out very well and have a plan that is both exciting but not overly ambitious for you to manage. Take care of yourself and mythic oracle be willing youll be illness free or roll a fun random event to distract you from illness =P

Thanks for the update. I hope you feel better soon. I think your current ideas regarding the faction turn system and the megadungeon make sense. Especially saving the megadungeon for between seasons so there's less stuff to worry about on your end of things. Looking forward to season 3, but that can wait until you roll a strong hit to recover from this cold.

Even though the news of a delayed season 3 is a bummer, I appreciate the update! It would definitely do nobody any good for a subpar start to the campaign, so no worries there. Having content in between seasons is also a great idea. If you’re not familiar with them, check out Dimension 20 on YouTube. They have a bunch of mini-seasons sandwiched between main campaigns that are only about 5 episodes long each (as opposed to the standard 18-20 long episodes). Something similar to that structure would help maintain the upward momentum of the channel and expand the content pretty dramatically over time I think.

Thank you for the update! I like the idea of the Mega-Dungeon being a between seasons treat for patrons. That makes a lot of sense. Here’s hoping that you feel better soon, for your own sake. 😉👍
