This is -not- representative of the finished paintings in Point Nowhere, and it's actually not even part of the official series of pictures for the story.
This is an initial paint test I experimented with in the very beginning of the entire project, that I thought might be worth showing for the sake of interest.
Point Nowhere is a project that is pushing myself in most of my creative ability, story development, music, and art. My art roots are with traditional mediums like pencils, markers, and acrylic paint. I don't get to paint as much as I'd like, and so I've been really wanting to get a good paint look with digital mediums. I've wanted to for years.
So with Point Nowhere, I took this opportunity to tackle something I've always wanted to try, at a scale I was intimidated to try to be honest. So I sat down and experimented with brushes and styles and techniques, until I found something I was happy with.
The "One Monster" painting is a better indicator of what the finished paintings will look like, but this was my initial paint test at the beginning.
