My roots rest in traditional mediums, mostly acrylic paints. This Point Nowhere project was designed to push my creativity in every way I can, from an imaginative standpoint and technical standpoint.
I've always wanted to tackle a more traditional painted approach with digital mediums, but struggled with the tools to get the effect I wanted. But I recently got some new Photoshop brushes that really helped me get the effects I want.
This was painted with minimal layers, kept loose in style, and I'm really pleased with it. Here's a cropped, zoomed-in, detail shot of part of the bigger painting, just to kind of tease.
