Details for Upcoming Watch a Movie with Me!
Added 2016-08-19 00:20:50 +0000 UTCYo yo!
Watcha Movie with Me is happening FRIDAY the 26th at 6pm PST! I am trying to lock down legendary comic artist and illustrator, Bill Sienkiewicz, to be my special guest. If it all works out we will be mad trash talking on a bootleg copy of X-Men Apocalypse....BUT I am still waiting on confirmation.
If Bill doesn't work out this month, we will catch up with him next month. As for what we will watch instead of X-Men...I'm leaning towards Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy which is available on Netflix with a TBD Guest.
Keep your fingers crossed for Bill, but if we have to push him to next month... are you guys down for Barbarella? Got another suggestion? Let me know if the comments!

2016-08-22 09:00:23 +0000 UTCI've never actually watched Barbarella all the way through. That would be cool. And I have no problems watching a bootleg X-men. After all they had enough gall to try to sell it to us!

2016-08-21 19:03:47 +0000 UTCI'd rather see a good (and legal 😉 ) movie with you. However, trash talking the latest X-Men would be fun. Of course we also would have to obtain a bootleg copy.

2016-08-20 01:53:27 +0000 UTCBarbarella! Sounds a little too hipsterish for me. I'll try it I guess... Movies around the 70's I find a little boring but maybe I find a new appreciation. What's up w the link from last time?

2016-08-19 23:50:20 +0000 UTCI've never heard you talk about Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow before. It's great film and the behind the scenes story is interesting too. The brothers who worked on it never made another major film, even though guys like Lucas and Abrams loved it and wanted to work with them. Of you have talked about it and that's why I'm thinking of it...
