Mid-April Progress

Bad news first. The Seven-Sisters game WAS going well. Spent a week finishing about 30 medals, including all the finicky checks interspersed in the main code to make them work, and modified a bunch of minor graphical details, fixing odd movements and positions, and some bug-fixes. Then a windows update crashed my machine to safe-mode-only... So, only option is to system-restore, but not to worry ~It doesn't erase YOUR PERSONAL files~ Actually, that's a lie... a damn microsoft lie! ~ What it ACTUALLY doesn't erase is any Text or Image files. Everything else is damn deleted, personal or not, Y'know, like programming files... And since it was restored in safe-mode, It can't be UN-restored.

So, I learned my lesson the hard way to make daily backups, but the REAL problem is now Seven-Sisters doesn't even load for me since all the images (not deleted) and the code (reverted to a week earlier) don't match... So, it'll be weeks of annoying error-by-error checking to fix the game back to what it was on April 1, without even getting back the new stuff I added. And, I had to spend all week redoing my work and school files which were ALSO deleted...

OK, on to the 'good' news. Since Seven-Sisters is in stasis, I started working on other games, specifically Sukhon. The sequel idea was giving me many problems with the art, or positions, or movements, or story, not being good enough ~in my mind~ and I realized I'm over-thinking it too much and making no progress. So, the solution is to use the Sukhon game I already HAVE to test out the new ideas, possibly even turn it INTO the sequel. I've saved the original project at version 1.17 (in case I need to update the online version on Newgrounds) and am modifying the new version to be a playable sequel of sorts. 

The Sequel idea is: Sukhon buys enough shares to become a part-owner in the Super-Pussy club and hires new women to work in her place. (like ascending) Each woman will have her own story, dialogues and personality, a unique (possibly random) face, skin, body type, and bonuses. They'll progress through the game as Sukhon did but also pay Sukhon a percentage of their earnings. There would be different locations (requires renting building, guards, bribes by Sukhon) that affect customers, dangers, rivals, police... Women can buy transportation and rent apartments which provide bonuses. Sukhon will still be able to take clients to make extra cash, but also can manage the business-side of having multiple employees, buildings, bribes. (Even if you totally ignore the business-side, the sex-part of the game will be unaffected. The business-side just allows unlocking of higher levels of wealth, status, and power for Sukhon) 

This means I'll be able to put Sukhon updates on Patreon more regularly, BUT also means the game will start changing, possible dramatically to fit into the new game format... For example, limiting facial features and hairstyles to specific women in the story and removing futa or gay options from new women. I'll likely leave ALL options turned on for Sukhon only. So far, I'm working on new faces and IMAGINE I can add in other skin colors as well. (Although the 75+ skin layers that need to be recolored is daunting...) Here's a working sample of some faces:

I tried a few ways to change the eye shape as well, but that really didn't look good... I'll try again, likely focusing on eye makeup styles instead. 

On a side-note, originally I wasn't interested in gay-only or futa-customers for Sukhon, but I had serious repeat requests for both so those are now somewhat working. The futas don't 'really' work since the body size is too small for the preset positions so the arms and legs 'break' when fully extended. Not sure if these options were included in v1.19 but here's an image of both turned on, just to make this post 'Adults-Only' Haha:
