Casual Mode is working well
Added 2020-04-17 15:42:04 +0000 UTCAllright! After two weeks, I got casual mode working with no more errors. It was much harder than I expected. I had to basically code an entirely new game (using the existing art) since ALL the menus needed to be clickable, with NO mouse-over (for mobile devices) and all the items and clothes have different stats and effects, and the gameplay is different. Basically, you rent the upgrades to increase your stats which allows access to higher-paying areas. You can also buy clothes to increase your stats without paying daily fees. The Human, Lizard, and Orc events are available almost immediately.
One new idea is you increase your maximum customers by upgrading your house so I included an image below:

In this way, Casual-Mode is worth playing, even for serious players. It's like a relaxing break from strategy, and let's you quickly see most aspects of the game (clothes, items, enemies) without ruining the Normal-Mode game. Casual-Mode doesn't have any storylines, bad-events, NPC-quests, Medals or Achievements, or body-modification, just 'interactions'. Also, the Tier-Level bonuses are the same in both modes, except I've changed removing clothing during 'interactions' to be accessible on Tier $0 and increased the starting stats and money for Tier $1 instead.
The rest of the month I'll be working in Normal-Mode, trying to get Pregnancy working, and possibly X-ray vision. If it goes well, I might try to apply some of the 'clickable-menus' code into the Normal-Mode but I kinda feel that won't work with the current code structure... Anyways, I'll see how it goes!
