It’s a series that expands my consciousness in new ways and teaches me more about the nature of humanity (and my place in it) every time I revisit it. Please read the the final 3 books God Emperor, Heretics and Chapterhouse. While the story of Muadib is fantastic, the ongoing story of Duncan Idaho and Leto II’s golden path is truly enriching. I can not recommend the final three books enough. Miles Teg is an intellectual badass and Herbert sets up a host of strong and fascinating female characters; Taraza, Odrade, Tamalane, Lucilla, Sheeana, Murbella and dear vicious Bellonda - the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood is where Herbert hides some of his most arcane and alchemical teachings.
