Of course I want a good trek show. How bout the Romulan war and beginning of the Federation with Admiral Archer ? The actors are about the right ages since Enterprise ended to fit characters.

Finally the TV Grandpa we grew up seeing is coming back to offer a new generation some wisdom. To Boldly Go Were ........... Love it!

I mean it was mainly my favorite because I thought the suspense of the Borg taking over the ship was entrenching and they killed it in their first big screen appearance. But yeah later I came to appreciate how Picard juxtaposes his reserved self in past installments and how he overcame his personal issues with the B-men and women. Also I'm not sure how common this is with movie adaptations from shows, but I absolutely love how the ST movies incorporate particular elements from the show and incorporate their nuance into the movie.

Yes! The Next Generation theme song has been one of the most memorable sci-fi themes I've ever listened to! That and the one for Farscape.

awesome girl

Me and my dad used to watch next gen together every night he wasn’t working, Patrick Stewart holds a special place in my heart

The Orville is eating their cake, so they tried making Discovery more like Orville (that sneeze), but it was weak and the appetite for TNG is too strong so now they're trying to bury The Orville by resurrecting Picard, which is their ace card, the biggest move they could make. You're not seeing Janeway coming back, or Sisko.

David Anderson

One huge red flag: Akiva Goldsman’s involvement. That guy cannot help but latch himself onto nerd projects and ruin them. See the Dark Tower

Total daddy... Yup, that sums it up nicely!

If it wouldn't about technology at all, that would be fun.

Ooo Looking forward to watching this video today!

First Contact is my favorite Trek movie a lot of because how it structures his arc through his fear of the Borg. I guess it does have more to do with the performance and how much the character departs from that diplomatic persona, but just how far it departs is telling for me.

I’m hopeful but not optimistic.

As much as I love love love JLP and Patrick Stewart, I'm leaning toward this wont be good. But I'll watch and give it a shot.
