You got this CBG!!

Checking in from Orlando, FL! On day 4 without power. There's a tree in my garage. Other than we made out better than most here in the sunshine state!!

I'm glad I was volunteering on Catalina island during our fires - my health has serious issues with the fire season.

And also! I'm so down for your winter book club choice! I haven't read it in years so it'll be fun to revisit. 👁👨

Mama19 take your time! Don't stress yourself out too much. 🖤

I guess I'll ask my Dune Club question here: 1- As we finish Muad'dib, while we had a couple of big revelations, most of this second "book" within a novel felt like almost filler wandering of the desert. With rather impersonal, lesser threats than the Harkonnen plot of the first book, this setup middle feels more like exposition. Do you think it is weaker writing or just a usual "softer" middle act in a 3-part story structure? 2- I have a million more questions, but to keep it short: finishing with the water of life, how many recreational drugs has Frank Herbert tried and how has that affected his writing, story-wise and style-wise?

Hey CBg 19, I'm a big fan of your work and I've been following your work for a while. I actually had a question for duneclub. I'm a Fire Fighter paramedic in Ft Myers Florida and I've been deployed for hurricane Irma. We're currently waiting for a direct hit. The eye is going to pass over our staging are in 2 hours so I won't be free during the livestream. Anyways , my question has to do with Paul's inability to let go of his humanity and clinging to his relationship to chauni to feel normal. Do you think frank Herbert was insinuating that in order to serve humanity in a larger scale you have to relinquish your connection to your humanity like the god emperor did? Could you please talk to the pros and cons Paul experienced for not forsaking this connection. Thanks, I'll catch up on duneclub after the storm. Keep up your great work!- Cody

I appreciate how you give art the time and inspiration that it needs.

Also, not sure how far away you live from them, but you should do the H3H3 Podcast, they're great people and it would be a good place to plug some shit!

Glad you're okay with all the fires and 130 degrees in Cali. It's been scary lately, so it's all good! Session 9 was loaded, can't wait! The only negatives I've read about IT is there's too many jump scares, but in this day and age there's no helping that. Though I did just see "It Comes at Night" which was pretty creepy and atmospheric. Happy to hear about Watchmen, have read it twice. Stay Safe, to everyone!

I was looking for an opportunity to buy watchmen since I saw the movie, what a great coincidence :) Also, can you guys do the stamp on the inner side of the front cover this time? I think it's better to leave cover art intact.

Proud of you and happy for you CBG. Your channel only gets better. Keep up the good work. Can't flipping wait for Watchmen!
