I loved the LCF Principles. I should probably read that again. It's been a few years.

Have you seen Castelvania on Netflix?

With anything by Studio Trigger you really just have to let it be a cartoon. Sometimes they are sooo over the top, and Kill La Kill is no exception. I think you would get on board with some of the themes later on, but it's not everyone's cup of tea and that's okay! Also, the green gradient in your hair looks super good!

I was blown away recently watching this Swedish tv show called Jordskott. It starts off like a typical scandi-noir thriller in the vein of Bron (The Bridge) or Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but takes a decidedly supernatural / cryptozoological bent as slowly creatures from Scandinavian folklore are revealed to be embroiled in the mystery. Unfortunately it's only available in North America on Shudder, AMC's horror themed streaming service so if you don't want to sign up for yet another streaming service (even if only for the free trial) there aren't really any good alternatives for watching it right now.

Thanks for the updates! I've read my chapters for watchmen club so looks like I have some other reading to catch up on!

And please take a look at the impending game "Agony" and speak your magic on it if you would. Its nightmarish, definitely the best visualization of a Hell I have ever seen. It comes in March but there are demo walkthroughs and trailers.

I am a huge fan of Bloom. The ultimate book on this same subject that looks at ideas and memes as very naughty self propagating "idea organisms" which care very little for the individual brains that host them, resulting in such untoward behavior as extremism and suicide bombing, etc. has the warming title of "God Wants You Dead." It's not by Bloom but its from his neck of the intellectual woods. It is eye opening and hilarious. Another great book is the one I sent you CBG19: "The Born and the Made!"

Another recommendation on your endless list: Assassin’s Creed Origins. I’ve only played a few hours but it looks like it’s already the definitive Egypt game. I know you said you were interested in Ancient Egypt, so this could be right up your alley!

That crocodile episode on black mirror tho 😳 πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

I love your vlog-type videos! I got the Lucifer Principle after you mentioned it in your Grant Morrison party video but haven't gotten around to it yet. I have it on queue after Mistborn and autobiography of a Yogi.
