I feel the bells snapped something from when she was a baby when they were fleeing the bells maybe were going off.. and them going off while she was burning sheet to the ground, it triggered her... but, it could be that she was like F this you all gonna die.

The characters do seem to blow themselves up a lot in this show. Which can be a bit frustrating. Even if you don't feel that way about characters like Arya, we did see at least the process by which she earned her lot.

Disappointing episode certainly. I think though that T was overstating Jon Snow’s journey. ‘Bumbling’ through the seasons? There are all sorts of examples of Jon being a leader and displaying courage. I understand and agree that the sullen bit got old. As for Akira the Don, with all due respect to his musicianship and artistry, I’m going to have to call out the hyperbole. A waste of 65 hours? Nope. He enjoyed most of those hours and looked forward to each Sunday. A bad season or even a bad episode doesn’t erase that. I’ve had bad days, weeks and even a bad month or two and those ‘disappointments’ certainly haven’t rendered my life a a waste of my time. I get the disappointment but I’m finding it hard to understand the level of anger. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the last two books. I’ve read the first 5 four times each and none of that was time I wish I had back - even the dull Mereen bits 😄

These writers...I don't even know where to start. They wanted to kill a dragon and give it to the Night King, so they invent that idiotic trip beyond the wall. Its pretty lucky that the dead army brought along some giant chains for some reason. They wanted to kill another dragon, so along comes laser eye Euron and his apparently invisible fleet. Ned Stark didn't want his best friend to gleefully murder his nephew, so he kept the secret for 20 years...if Jon really didn't want the throne, he should've kept his mouth shut too...how anyone could think he'd be a good king when he always makes the wrong choice is beyond me. TV writers always seem to write themselves into idiotic corners when they deviate from the source material. Dexter is another good example of this. Now, these guys are being given a Star Wars franchise to butcher. I just can't.

Wow, I was not aware of that. That man should be kept away from all IP from now on. A gulag, perhaps.

One of the show runners worked on the script of Wolverine Origins. It all makes sense now

I'm way more positive on this season than most, but I can see where everyone is justified in their displeasure. The moment that upset me in this episode is a small one but a big one: when Jaime said that he didn't care what happened to the innocent. It makes sense for him to say that. That's a lie he's convinced himself of long ago. But deep down he's a good guy, and Tyrion really should have fired that back at him in that moment. Instead of saying "You care about one innocent," he should have laid into him and convinced him of how good he is. He should've brought up how Jamie saved King's Landing all those years ago at great personal cost to himself (Kingslayer, A Man Without Honor, etc). To me, that's the arc of these two. Jaime has always loved Tyrion unconditionally and vice versa. I think the writers did a wonderful job of making that scene great for Tyrion, and I love that scene, but they could've easily done the same thing for Jaime, but they fumbled it.

The way I see it, is the writers who adapt it for HBO just don't have a very creative imagination. If you look at all the things they took creative license on, it was always head scratching, but saved by the production quality and overall story. Now that they have to stand on their own this is laid bare even further. Great everything, except for the story. Old Republic Star Wars could be very rough if they don't bring in someone with imagination and vision. These guys are just a notch above snyder at this point.

I could not agree with the breakdown more. GOT has been like climbing an intricate, medieval spiral staircase & finding a half-filled bucket of urine at the top.

Well, this was a good round! Challenging the status quo is never easy.
