Do you think having an angry little battle leader helps the movement galvanize? Or do you think Greta has damaged this movement for an environmentally healthier global future - if so - why? (I think she's fierce and kinda dig her angry little face hehehe)

I've heard you criticise Greta Thunberg for being a little tyrant. I kinda felt like scientists and environmentalists have been like the Greek mercenaries, woriing for corporate entities who were creating the threats they themselves could see coming for them. By finally banding behind one idea/ one little fierce leader that represents the future they want, the movement has been roused into firmer action.

I am not asking you to name names but your job is much different than most of the public's. Who do you see as your enemies in your business? Maybe just passivity is your biggest enemy?

Red Sonja's mate

Greene says, "don't be rooted in the past". Do you struggle with knowing when you are "rooted in the past" versus "applying a lesson learned" correctly? Like knowing better than to burn your self once again on the same hot stove top?

Red Sonja's mate

I’m reading chapter 1. Really enjoying it. What is the online schedule? I thought it was 3:30 on Sunday and Wednesday but I don’t see todays live stream.

Still waiting to get the book, so here is one: as the saying goes (and it’s not quite correct) history is written by the victors. What do you think of the author’s choice of examples? Are they standard (common knowledge) or are there surprising ones, and are they represented in the standard textbook (often black and white) way or do they show a more nuanced perspective that dispels myths and misconceptions?

PJ B

For someone who has a hard time getting out of their comfort zone, what is a good first step to becoming more of a death-grounder? (Asking for a friend haha)

Which figure from history cited in this book do you most identify with/most admire?
