War Club Chapter 14/15 Qs

Comments

I couldn't help but think of boss bitch Carol Baskins at times with her latest final maneuver of taking over Joe Exotics own zoo!! Did Carol ultimately always have control of the situation while Joe was just too fckn crazy with no strategy, no means to actually affect her or bring her down... She never lost control lol and ultimately he's in jail for his madness and she has taken EVERYTHING lol. Danika - what strategies ultimately worked for Carol Baskins lol?

It is interesting to see how others will freeze or at least hesitate when you take a blitzkrieg approach. I use this approach in my everyday life. What are some ways you do?

Covid-19 has been a real blitzkrieg on humanity, making everyone emotional and afraid... Thank you prof for these classes and motivating us to strengthen our minds ! Respect.

On blitzkrieg: fast overwhelming force requires a lot of resources (the build part is slow usually, as the chapter contrasts the slow/fast pace of things). That strategy can and will fail if you didn't resource manage well. Can you give examples where either you planned such a strategy well and it worked or one where you ran out of ammo early and faced a thunderous backlash? On control: did the author just shoehorn this to get a nice 33 strategies instead of 32? I disagree with the author, "control" is not a strategy in itself, it's one form or another of the other strategies, like manipulation, blitzkrieg, cold war, etc. Control is the fucking purpose of game, not one way to "get it", hence the no reversal.

There are aspects of War Club's teachings I really need in my life But there are others that I absolutely DO NOT fuck with. By its own principles I think it is appropriate to read such literature and argue with both it and myself. But on the other hand, it feels like an all-or-nothing philosophy. What are your thoughts on this with this book or any philosophy? How do you separate useful parts from a whole you disagree with?
