That is how the political class, particularly in the US, has taken elections as the war itself rather than just a particular setting for the "war" (the actual day to day running of government)? On annihilation: I'm happy to see finally one reversal that acknowledges it's a winning move only if you have enough resources for its execution. Now that we are more than halfway through the book, can you give examples where you have used this strategy or considered this one versus some lower cost/resource intensive variant?
