Werewolf Watch-A-Long Poll
Added 2021-09-21 19:50:52 +0000 UTCIt's SPOOKY SEASON! Vote on this Saturday's Werewolf themed Watch-A-Long movie! Check out our contenders below that include a short description of each film. Not gonna lie, I want Ginger Snaps to win.
Ginger Snaps (2000: Canadian Supernatural Horror AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE)
The story of two outcast sisters, Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) and Brigitte (Emily Perkins), in the mindless suburban town of Bailey Downs. On the night of Ginger's first period, she is savagely attacked by a wild creature. Ginger's wounds miraculously heal but something is not quite right. Now Brigitte must save her sister and save herself.
Dog Soldiers (2002: British Action Horror)
During a routine nighttime training mission in the Scottish Highlands, a small squad of British soldiers expected to rendezvous with a special ops unit instead find a bloody massacre with a sole survivor. The savage attackers of the special ops team return, and the men are rescued by Megan (Emma Cleasby), a zoologist who identifies what hunts them as werewolves. Without transport or communications, the group is forced to retreat to a farmhouse to wait for the full moon to disappear at dawn.
Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001: French Action Horror: BEWARE SUBTITLES)
In a rural province of France, a mysterious creature is laying waste to the countryside, savagely killing scores of women and children. Unseen, possessed of enormous strength and a human intelligence, the beast has eluded capture for years. King Louis sends in a renowned scientist and his Iroquois blood brother, an unconventional team whose combined methods and capabilities may bring the beast down. But the true nature of the beast is not what anyone could have anticipated.
Underworld (2003: American Action Horror)
Selene, a vampire warrior, is entrenched in a conflict between vampires and werewolves, while falling in love with Michael, a human who is sought by werewolves for unknown reasons.

And I think they wanted Michael because he was an ancestor of the original werewolf , I think

2021-09-22 01:02:16 +0000 UTCSo hard to choose. These are all sooo good. “Cursed”, starring Christina Ricci, Joshua Jackson and Jesse Eisenberg was also a underrated sleeper hit. Directed by the late great Wes Craven. Didn’t make the poll, but def worth a watch. 😉
