Woah. 13K +?? That’s AMAZING. Our favourite Culture Witch as woven a MASTERSPELL. I must watch this now. I have been remiss in keeping up with the club - though I saw the movie and loved it for what it was: a very well told story, beautifully done, a pleasurable trip through the Duniverse (though not a strong, visceral movie going experience.)

Obviously I believe in Danika’s skills of perception and insight but even I was floored by how on-the-money every point, critique, and compliment was. Its objectively the quintessential review of the film. 💯 Also it was great to see Danika so ecstatic and thriving with thousands of fans, while talking her favorite property. Since the beginning she had detractors to her talking Dune but she stood firm and said, “No, I’m gonna talk about the art I want to talk about.” And that led her to the twitch front page. That’s a strength of will and fortitude that money couldn’t buy. ✊ If half of content creators on all levels had her guts, the entire creative landscape would be changed for the better. 🙏

I was glad I made it to a review on twitch. I really enjoyed the format and loved the fact you had 13k+ viewers! Was fun being moderator in the fact we didnt have to ban or mute anyone! If you are looking for a spooky and fun TV series to watch for Halloween (that has some weird/horror elements) have you seen "Over the Garden Wall"? I think it'd be right up your alley Danika!

A lot of nitpicking right here, Danika. Granted, the film glossed over a lot of plot points so I'm hoping an Extended Cut will be a thing, fingers crossed... And as far as a TV series goes, I just cannot see it being cinematic in scope. Films all the way! It's a good thing Part 2 has officially been confirmed so here we go...

I'm happy for the fandom, didn't watch it, but rarely consume this media anyway. More likely I will read the book when feel the urge (the way Frank intended it being watched). Although reports reflect my view; well made product with many fashion actors, story is boring but meditative, something is missing but not an ending. I remember after second trailer one of my elder brothers used the term 'butt-clenching' for it, but we are eagerly waiting for the next Matrix movie (best adaptation ever).
