Early Access - Lord of the Clans Ep. 8

Hi folks,

Here's the next one.

Credit where credit is due - I think Christie Golden did a really good job of writing an incel origin story about 20 years before incels were a thing.  Aedelas has now become quite a scary villain, I think.  I mean - Yeah; he's not a god.  Or a demon wizard.  He's not the most powerful, imposing figure.  But he's a narcissist that now believes himself to be a victim

In other news - I randomly decided to check out an anime called Goblin Slayer recently.  Holy shit.  lol.  Caught me off guard.  Very quickly establishes that Goblins are awful monsters.  And then introduces its main character who is, in essence, The Punisher (but for Goblins).  Definitely not for everyone but yeah - If you're looking for something that's a little bit more black and white than a lot of modern fantasy stories (and you're ok with violence and very dark subject matter)… maybe check that out.  It's on Crunchyroll in the UK.  I dunno where you can watch it in other regions

Speaking of other regions - Belated Happy Thanksgiving to those of you that celebrate that.  A fair few of you are American so... Merry Thanks Day or whatever it is you say.  I envy how many public holidays you have across the pond.  We get like... 8 a year.  And that's including Christmas and Easter and shiz.  The rest of them are just called "Bank Holidays".  That's how much effort was put in.  "Banks are closed so... Bank Holidays".

Anywho - Hope you enjoy this latest episode.  Thanks, as always, for your support.  And I'll see ya in the next Early Access post.  Cheers mates!

Lol. Sounds good. Im giving Jujutsu Kaisen another go at the moment. But I shall see if I can find Gate and give that a watch too.

Goblin Slayer is pretty good! Have you tried Gate? A portal opens up in modern day Tokyo and a bunch of dragons and knights pour out and a otaku must save the day, lol.

How dark is Goblin Slayer? Well... in the first 15 or so minutes of Episode 1... a group of fledgling adventurers form a party. Go on their first quest. Get ambushed by a horde of goblins. Either hacked to pieces or r*ped. The MC then shows up and violently slaughters every single goblin in the cave. Including Goblin children whilst monologuing about how goblin kids don't deserve to live.

How dark are we talking about? In war of the ancients for example the fighting scenes depict a lot of guts flying about and they keep at it for a good chapter with vivid descriptions of what some obscure tribes in the amazon rainforest call a casual friday..
