How To Fix Sloppy Playing! Hand Synchronization Masterclass
Added 2024-05-28 15:24:21 +0000 UTCIs your playing far too sloppy but you don't know how to fix it? Well then chances are the problem lies in your hand synchronization!
Hand synchronization is the concept of both of your hands being perfectly coordinated and moving as a single, disciplined unit. As guitarists improve and gain more technique it's incredibly common for one hand to start racing ahead of the other (usually the picking hand getting ahead of the fretting hand). This is the main culprit when it comes to sloppy playing, and it's unfortunately not too obvious to diagnose as a less experienced player.
The good news, however, is that these problems are pretty easy to fix!
In this lesson I explain how hand synchronization works and give you 5 of my favorite, most effective exercises you can work on to start improving your own hand sync.
Good luck and don't forget to share your progress with everyone in the Discord server!

How do you manage to get that clear resonating sound when doing hammer-ons and pull-offs? I mostly work on Logic Pro and I can't reach this level.

2024-11-01 16:53:29 +0000 UTCJust curious why you’re not using your pinky I’m a bassist but started learning guitar so I’m fairly new is this normal to do on guitar instead of using one finger per fret?

2024-10-09 14:40:43 +0000 UTCThe difference between Pick and No Pick ist so huge at exercise No. 1. I am pushing so hard and get a tiny noise without the Pick in this sequence. In Song context I do not have problems with single hammer ons and pull offs. Ist this normal, is my Finger strength just so weak? 😅

2024-09-28 11:23:32 +0000 UTCin the first exercise alternating the g scale's first 3 notes and using both hands to voice them, how is bradley getting a sound on the first g?? I can't get any volume and it looks like his index finger is not moving on the g, so how do you get volume for that first g? Confused noob here, pls go easy lol

2024-06-05 11:25:35 +0000 UTCGreat lesson! It quickly showed that my playing was a mess :) There is much to work on... It's especially hard for me to deal with arpeggios in exc4 cause I touch the other strings during pulloffs.

2024-05-31 18:48:38 +0000 UTCThanks so much for the lesson! I always have the feeling that as faster I play the more my hands desynchronize. So now I have something to fix that 🤘🏻
