Got this email in regard to the video where the sheriff and sergeant threaten to arrest each other.

On a local news channel, there’s a former employee that’s cooperating with an investigation into the Sheriff’s office. There’s also a tape of the Sheriff calling the Hiawassee PD his enemies. I’m not saying either side is better than the other. But I think it’s best to wait to post any kind of information until the investigation is completed. There’s one thing about it, if this cop is doing something wrong, he will lose his job. However, if the Sheriff is doing something wrong, unless it’s illegal, it will most likely wait for the voters to decide on whether to replace him or not. If they have a low crime rate, it becomes an even tougher decision.
