Harrison Cutts Corner: Chaos Level VI
Below, you will find rules, lore and advice for using some of this month’s releases in 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons. These stat sheets are designed to let you insert the miniatures into your campaigns with minimal preparation, and include lore, tactics and guidelines on how best to use these monsters and NPCs in addition to the rules themselves.
This month’s release takes the form of a mini-supplement for 5e themed around dragons. The main event focuses on the Dragon miniature from Arcanum Workshop, featuring a fully fleshed out history for this legendary creature and several story hooks to insert it into your games, whether you’re playing a oneshot or an ongoing campaign. The dragon is provided with a full, unique statblock and accompanied by design notes and advice on customising other dragons in 5e to make encounters with these majestic creatures as epic, dynamic and exciting as they should be. At the end of the document you will find additional material including the Wyrmspeaker feat for player characters wishing to delve further into draconic lore, an NPC statblock for one such dragon scholar, and a powerful curse that can afflict characters that linger too long near a dragon’s hoard.
The sheets are, of course, just a guideline, and you should feel free to modify any element of them to better suit your game and players, or use them to inspire your own creations!
Happy gaming, I hope you enjoy this month’s release.
