He figured she’d be upset, but as long as she didn’t go out seeking revenge for her fallen lover, they could at least begin to plan a coherent retaliation. One that possibly wouldn’t get the two of them killed.
She arrived almost instantly.
“Diana.” He began, already not liking the worried look on her face coupled with her battle regalia.
“What happened to Clark, Bruce?”
“I uh...” He spun back around to his computer, her reaction was not a thing that he wanted to observe. “I think he’s dead. Barry too.”
Her crystal eyes trailed to the floor and a tear soaped down her cheeks. “I hear flies are eating their bodies.”
Bruce glanced at her. “We need to be tactical about our next move. Recklessness can-”
“I’m going to wear her skin as a coat.”
“No, Diana we arent engaging. Not yet at least.”
She looked confused, almost angered. “The witch killed Clark.”
“Yes, and Barry as well.”
“And your gonna let her live?”
