Demons Within updates and what's next

Heeey folk!

How's everyone doing? I said a few days ago when I posted the first Demons Within build that I'd make a post like this soon, and now... well, here it is! I hope a bunch of you have had time to check it out! I got some neat feedback about it. :) Thank you to all of you who did already!

At any rate, I come bearing some news, both about the game and everything surrounding it. Bear with me as I cover the biggest points!

1. Next DW builds and future content and updates

As most of you probably noticed by far, I'm diving head-in into the game development business with Demons Within and I intend to keep writing and updating it as often as possible. I have the whole story planned out in general and it's a big one, but hopefully also a good one. I've poured all of my heart and experience in writing so far into crafting it, so I hope it'll be enjoyable as you see it little by little!

That means that I do intend to keep releasing new versions of Demons Within. I'll continue to aim for a Patreon early release on the 10th of each month, with public releases of the game coming later (probably the end of said month). I'm already working hard to get the next release done on time for November 10th!

2. Future Demons Within content

Alongside continuing its story and bringing a bunch of new scenes, spicy or not, I have a whole bunch of features planned for the game. This includes an Android build so you can play it on your phone if you'd like, a 'gallery' of sorts where you can easily see and replay things you have seen with unlockables and a bunch more! I'll get these out little by little because, unfortunately, there's only one of me, but I'll work hard!

3. More interaction with Patreon regarding Demons Within

I'll do my best to include Patreon in the development of Demons Within much like I did with Mage's Tower. While there you guys defined all the main kinks of the story as well as its overall theme, here I do have a lot of things already planned to make sure the story stays as good as possible, but I'll include as much Patreon input as possible!

For example, I'll have a poll regarding one of the characters that'll be coming in the next build up for you guys around the end of the week... ;)

4. But what about stories?

I know that all of you who support me so far support me for my stories and you might not be as interested in a game. I'm sorry about that! If you haven't tried Demons Within yet, I do urge you to at least give it a go! I do think a lot of my usual writing is still in there much like it was in Mage's Tower.

At any rate, I can't say the rate of stories won't decrease since working on a game is so much work! With that being said, though, writing stories is still my passion and every now and then I find myself aching to write something more traditional... Dishonorable Banditry, one of my latest stories, was an example of that, and I have at least two more stories that are almost done coming soon for you guys to enjoy first as well!

5. And finally... Patreon changes!

I'll get more in-depth about this when I actually do the changes. For now, I'm studying how to best approach this, but with the coming of Demons Within, I plan on making some changes to make sure my Patreon supports both it and my writing equally! That might mean messing around with tiers and probably some restructuring of the discord server too.

Fret not! I don't intend on stripping anybody of privileges nor making anything more expensive! I'll probably just add more options and just re-think the whole thing so it makes more sense. Again, I'll get more in-depth about this when I do it, probably next week!
