Demons Within Character WIP: "Alt" Resnick

Hey hey!

Today I've got something special for all of you with access to WIP previews! Usually, I post all the WIPs as I get them, but this was a bit of a special character and I mulled over and over if I should give it a preview before the build. His very presence is kind of a spoiler, so ultimately, I decided not to as to not ruin anybody's experience in the game.

Now that Update 2 has been out for a little while though I figured I can make this post! There'll be inevitably some people that will end up seeing him before playing the update, but it's not THAT bad either! There's still a lot to find out about him and everything around him even for those that did play already. :P

Working on him with Blain was a delight! Blain was able to grasp his personality and how he should be from the start. Here are some of the early sketches of him:

As you can see, he looked great right from the start! We ultimately decided to change his positioning, as well as a few other key details, which led to a few later more detailed ones...

This one was much closer to the final version already!

In the end, we arrived at...

^ Seen for the first time in its simple form! But to add to his demonic flair, we added the final details:

And voilá! Can you tell all the subtle elements from Lust that get added to him in this form? There were a lot of small details we worked on for several reasons that will be revealed later! I can't wait. x)

In the meantime, we had a few more expressions drafted that didn't quite make it to the game just yet, but I think they're still awesome enough to show as previews!

Isn't Blain just absolutely awesome? <3 I'm super lucky to be able to work with someone as talented as him! A LOT of work went into getting this one perfectly right and I couldn't wait to share it with everyone in the update! There's still much more of him to see in the future so expect some of those WIPs to be completed at some point for sure!

For now, that's all I got. I hope you enjoyed a more thorough look at one of the most important characters we've got so far! There's so much more to come, though. So much we've worked on and I can't share just yet... oh, but we'll get there. We will!
