Demons Within: Update 3 progress and devlog

Hey folk!

Here's to another update on the development of Update 3 of Demons Within!

Update 2 has been out for almost a month now. In fact, it's going to be exactly a month on monday, which is why it's finally going to go public on Itch! All of you have tried it and know that there's big things in there. It's finally time to let the rest of the world see it too!

In the mean time, my efforts have already been concentrated entirely on Update 3. 

Personal stuff

First and foremost, some personal stuff again. I am more delayed in it than I would like to be. I'd like for it to be further down the line than it is, but the last weeks of December were extremely rough for me! As I had mentioned before, I moved to Canada entirely. I had a lot of plans over there, but as I went there (after an exhausting day of travel) and stayed there for a few weeks, I had a lot of time to think. In the end, I realized that the plans I had made for it were not exactly what I wanted. I decided to return to my homeland of Brazil for the time being. 

This is good! It was going to be significantly harder to keep up a steady workflow and manage my income in Canada, but all of that is much easier for me in Brazil! Me staying and being back to my routine means that I'll have way more time to focus on Demons Within and my creations, and with all of your amazing support, I'm looking forward to creating seriously amazing stuff (hopefully!)!

Actual good stuff

With that aside, despite the end-of-year delays, I'm still excited to say that Update 3 IS going smoothly. I won't say much about it, the intention of these devlogs is never to spoil, but at the most tease a little. This update WILL be less impactful than the last, as we just had a major scene in Update 2, but it'll still bring a lot of things that I think a lot of people were eager to see.

One of the biggest of those is finally introducing Sam, the coyote and last member of Resnick's unit. We'll finally get to see a little more of him rather than just mentions. There's a lot of fallback from Update 2 to deal with as well. Resnick has a lot to consider now!

Regarding the development itself, I'm also happy to report that things are going as they should. The writing is in its making with a good chunk done, the artwork is discussed and scheduled with Blain, and I hope to keep working hard to deliver Update 3 to Patreon here as soon as possible. I'll keep sharing the WIPs of everything I get and updating you guys as I go!

I'll wrap this one up here to keep it 'short'! I think I've said everything that's most relevant for now.

As always, huge thanks to everyone that supports me and Demons Within! So many new patrons have joined in the last month that it has blown me away. It keeps my drive to keep working hard on this higher than it's ever been! We even had our first awesome piece of fan art of DW in the last weeks...! How cool is that?!
