Demons Within Update 4: Final devlog!

Hey hey!

Alright folk, let's keep it short this time! I still have a bunch of work to do! ;)

Just a small update on, well, the update. :P

Things are going well. The script for the update is done and closed and about half of it is already transformed into visuals and working in-game. I've still got the trickier second half to do, but that's what I intend to finish this week!

After that, I only have a few minor bug fixes and adjustments to do in all the new features coming with the update as well. The Memorium itself is working well! It was a heckton of work from both Blain and me, but I think it'll be worth it! I feel like I already said that a thousand times...

Anyway, I think the game will feel more fun and more dynamic with it. This Update brings quite a few more memories up from Resnick and I plan on adding a few new ones to previous updates, as well as revising the existing ones a little bit.

I still have that plus the small fixes to do and a final special little piece of the update that requires a little more manual crafting too. Once these are done, things will be ready! I won't give a beta release date just yet, but right now I'm aiming for a beta, soundless test version for higher patrons around the second half of next week, and then the Patreon release probably by the very first days of May at the latest. That's what I'm hoping for!

We're very close!

Next week I'll also release a few more previews with screenshots of the build and etc to the previews tier as usual as well!

Oh, and Blain and I are already talking about the new designs and characters for Update 5 that comes right after this one... ;) I have a very nice surprise for everyone regarding that as well that I think people will like!

But, for now, let's focus on Update 4. There's gonna be a whole lot of bear in it!
