Lowman Bush is just north of the Derentine Mountains in Heran.

It has a treacherous monsoon season with torrential rain and occasional mass floodings, from the period of the Rose Moon to the Sturgeon Moon.
The aftermath of this period always bears fruit to a bountiful and lush growth of vegetation.

Many animals come to Lowman Bush to graze, mate and rear their young. Various kinds of predators, from both the animal kingdom and that of people, know this and use it to their advantage.
Since the time of the Crucible, with the material mundi and that of the Aether realm weakened, creatures from the Aether, such as the Cosmic Dire Badger, hop into this existence to safeguard their young, returning every so often to feed them.
They leave the Aether realm once every 72 years to breed and raise their younglings - a famed event known across all of Heran. Many come to view such spectacles and some even come to hunt and capture, though this is seen as a cruel and crude act by most civilised societies.

The Gaian Wolf is a common sight in Lowman's Bush throughout the year, though it may be hard to spot them as they blend perfectly with their terrain.
Their natural camouflage makes them excellent hunters; hunting either together or alone, depending on the social rules of the pack and each independent Gaian Wolf's temperament.
It is said to be near impossible to tame such a beast, but if one can achieve such a task, it is a widely renowned feat that is a symbol of the achiever's patience, courage and tenacity.
This is why the Gaian Wolf is a common symbol amongst various tribes, clans and warlords in Westan.

Woodland Hobs share the mischievous behaviour of ordinary Hobs, but unlike their cave-dwelling counterparts they enjoy the odd piece of clothing - especially around their middle region.
They spend most of their time 'hunting' as they fashion smooth jars for catching dragonflies, chasing them with pointed sticks in hand.

Lawinda, the elusive sorceress, has been on the run for centuries from the Kabalic Triumvirate - a powerful conglomerate of three powerful individual groups that hunt down various targets for their connection to all things associated with the Aether and the Crucible itself.
Their main target is often children and those convicted of witchcraft.
Lawinda is one of the few to escape their grasp as a child. Ever since, she has been a symbol of hope for those touched by the Aether.
