Added 2020-03-13 01:54:37 +0000 UTCBroke out some really old cheapo brush pens to see how they worked. Boy are they neon. Could make some cool synthwave-y Cyberpunk artwork, but maybe not so good for this type of work!
I did learn that it could be great fun to play with not just ink washes but break out my old watercolours and gouache for basic midtones and textures though. Must experiment more..... Each one makes digital equivalents significantly easier!
Also, a previously unposted intro to ink washing after eight years. I'm not using the right paper AT ALL for these, but boy it's fun to revisit.
